Had to stay here as couldn't find another hotel for a conference. IT WAS NOT WORTH £85/night! Very outdated, needed a lot of TLC. Extremely unclean throughout the hotel - I put my bag on the floor in my bedroom and when I picked it up it was covered in dust, there was mould all over my bathroom ceiling, hairs...

The hotel is in serious need of a remodel from top to bottom. The entire floor in our room is sagging in the middle, the mattresses need serious replacing unless you like waking up with back spams and the pillows were hard and flat. The curtains were not hanging on the rails properly and could not be closed properly and...

Probably one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. Filthy throughout. The air was so stale and dusty that I woke up with a nosebleed. My mate woke up covered in a rash. The heating is stuck on maximum and is on constantly. There are suspicious stains EVERYWHERE, on the curtains, walls, carpets, tiles. The mattress on my bed...

I hardly know where to start. As an Englishman, I would be embarrassed to meet any foreign visitors in the lobby, and try to explain how such a dump has a license to operate under the pretence of being a 'hotel'. From the minute you walk in, the reception is deserted and it smells stale and damp. It looks like...

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. It should be called a hostel. It's dirty and smelly and when I entered our room it stunk of cigarettes, there was a plastic bag over the fire alarm and dirty tissues under the filthy floors. The "en suite" is a tiny room with a broken toilet seat and a shower you would only...

Was a surprise weekend away so I didn't choose the place but we wouldn't go back again!! The place looked very dated even from the outside, this of course gave a bad impression from the start and unfortunately it only got worse. The place stank of smoke and cigarettes in the reception area, it was very dark and dated however...

The sheets were 'clean' - but the place was a dump. It looked like a bad university dorm. There was a bed - and not much else. No bedside table or light. There were two wall sconces but one had a burned out lightbulb. When we asked at the desk for a new bulb, we got one but it still...

Stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and it was OK. Stayed for the Bath half marathon and the hotel looked like it had not been cleaned since 2015. Check in was great and swift. They waived the car park charges too. Thought this is great. Got to the room. And there was a sandwich on the radiator half eaten...

having read some of the reviews we were expecting a shower of poop and yeah its not 4 star luxury nor does it state that it is. it could do with being brought into the year 2017 but its just a hotel we had for the night therefore served a purpose. if you want five star the hilton is just...

The Redcar Hotel will never win awards as a top hotel, but was fine. It was very close to the town centre and the sheets are clean. Decor both in the rooms and communal areas are very tired, but otherwise clean.
