While "5 minutes walk" is definitely a subjective measurement, this quaint guest house is a bit out of the way for our taste. You're most likely to see Sean most of your visit; a most gracious and helpful host, but other than breakfast the house tends to feel quite deserted. We stayed in Room 1 - the accommodations were neat...

Not a place I would go back to again. The people are lovely, but it's just not a very nice place to stay. The breakfast is wonderful and that's very much the highlight of the place. It was not very clean and is faded in appearance. The toilets are shared and just not cleaned very often. The room I was...

Just spent 9 nights in the guest house. The host Kieren and his sister Casey were friendly. The room was OK and I was not bothered by the noise of training passing throught the tunnel under the house. A major issue for me, however, was the Wifi access. I need to get online for making Skype calls and check emails....

stayed there for 3 nights at the early January. The most impressive thing is the owner Sheila and Sean. They are very nice, and we had many fun talking with Sean during breakfast. As the location, a little far away from train station but close to city center. (if you carry too many luggage, you may request for pick-up at...

I went with my mum for a week to Bath and we stayed at this hotel. Sean, Sheila and Kieron were very friendly and willing to help with everything! Very reasonable price! Good breakfast with the most amazing fruit dish every morning. Im not sure why people are moaning about the trains, we had the room right above the tunnel...

Stayed here recently. The experience was truly dire. The owner Sheila spent most of the time shouting at the top of her voice, she was incredibly rude and obnoxious. The accommodation was more Hostel than hotel. Indeed the whole set-up / atmoshphere were just really creepy. Couldn't get away fast enough. Avoid it like the plague!

Excellent guest house for the price, the hosts couldnt be more helpful, ringing us up as we were later than expected and directing us in as we were a little lost, to suggesting places to visit, and even lending my partner some straightners when hers broke, Breakfast was divine, fresh fruit salad, then cereal, then toast, then full english. The...

We found ourselves in Bath with nowhere to stay during fashion week. Luckily the tourist information centre were very helpful and found us the Roman City Guest House. Located within walking distance to the centre of town, the staff were friendly, the room was good-sized and the breakfast was divine. Whilst we had a shower in the room, we used...

On arriving in Bath we were lost. Sean the proprietor guided us in. He met us at the door and gave us our parking permit. Once inside he immediately recommended the free walking tour of the City. This was excellent and I wholeheartedly recommend this as it aids you to gage your directions and plan the rest of your stay....

We were on a two day trip to bath and Salisbury last year. Through the internet we found out about this guest house which appeared reasonable and worth trying out. We reached in the morning to put our bags there. The lady who manages(Shiela) wasn't to be seen but we managed to put our stuff down and went out for...
