Spent three nights at Marisha's. We were warmly welcomed by Judith who was standing in for the owner being on holiday. Very comfortable, made very welcome rooms were lovely and clean and beds very comfortable, plenty of choice at breakfast and food produced locally. We were always welcome back whenever we needed to, a nice lounge for use by guests. This... More

I really enjoyed Marisha's Guest House. It was clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance (for me, anyway, and I'm 71!) of the city centre--or buses go right by the door if you aren't much of a walker. Maureen made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I enjoyed her sense of humour and appreciated her recommendations (take the Mayor's... More

I stay here a couple of times a month, and it is always a delight. All the rooms are very well appointed, with good quality furnishings, and are always immaculately clean. Maureen is very welcoming and ensures all her guests enjoy their stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a short Staycation, a couple of weeks ago. We were not disappointed. Our host, Maureen was very welcoming and was happy to help us find our way around Bath, advising on routes and buses. Buses are very frequent, but it would be possible to walk into the city centre on a cool day. Our... More

I was really impressed with the service provided at Marisha's Guest House. I arrived unwell and Maureen explained how to get medical help which was such a relief, travelling from overseas. My room was cosy, breakfast good and easy access to Bath by bus or about a 20-30 minute walk if you want to exercise off the big breakfast.

Myself and my family stayed here for one night and before arrival the owner emailed saying she would not be in when we arrived and could we let ourselves in and order our breakfast. This was not a problem and we did so gladly. We walked into town afterwards (with a bit of confusion as we had no host to... More

My wife and I stayed for a night in this lovely bed and breakfast. We arrived early afternoon and were greeted by a lovely woman who showed us up to our room, a large double bed room with ensuite and a bay window with a lovely view. The location was ideal for us as we were driving and meeting friends... More

Marisha's is about as good as it gets. Our host, Judith, was wonderfully welcoming and helpful. The room was attractive and not cramped, with a small en suite bathroom. (Older houses adapted as B&Bs have these funny, retro-fitted bathettes...they are tiny but functional.) The reasonable price here reflects the distance from town, but it is walkable, or you can take... More
