We have just returned from a long weekend staying at Weston Lawn. Second time we have stayed here. Thoroughly enjoyed it and we like the walk into Bath, which takes about 25-30 minutes. I have just read the walk from Bath to Weston Village was one of Jane Austen's favourites! We stayed in the Red Room. We very much enjoyed...

We never knew Jane Austin liked the walk from Bath to Weston, but I am not surprised. Thank you for telling us!

This is a beautiful house and we were looked after superbly by Fiona and William who made us feel very welcome. Great location for easy access into Bath as it is close to a regular bus route. The local pub, at the end of the road, came highly recommended too and also didn't disappoint. We will certainly be returning to...

Thank you for your kind words and I will pass your comments about "The Old Crown" onto Kevin who runs it. Next week Fiona and I are going to a "Gin Evening" there with other locals. Not quite sure what to expect.

An excellent two night stay at Weston Lawn including a very good continental breakfast completed a memorable stay in Bath. Our hosts were exceptional in their warmth and local knowledge and we would certainly stay again if in the area. Like another reviewer we would say that the walk down to the city centre is not flat but easy going on...

Quite right that the walk into Bath is not flat - sorry if I misled you - but it is more or less level, mostly slightly downhill if that makes sense. You can also get the taxi back which is not expensive. Hope to see you again.

Excellent visit in a beautiful house. We stayed in the Garden Room which was a delight. Very roomy, clean with its own access and overlooked the pretty garden. Local pub served very good food. Sadly we only stayed one night but did benefit from the wonderfully generous and tasty breakfast. I would definitely recommend and re-visit. William and Fiona made...

Highly recommend Weston Lawn B&B near Bath. A really warm and friendly welcome by Fiona and William Close and a beautiful room in their delightful house, overlooking the rear garden. Great and plentiful continental breakfast and coffee, cooked breakfast if you wanted for a little extra. Four guest rooms so no overcrowding, good parking and easy to find. Thoroughly enjoyed...

The accommodation is really good and William and Fiona were very helpful and ever thing was as advertised BUT the Red bedroom is really, really, really small. You have been warned.I notice a reviewer stated that the walk into Bath was level, well it,s not quite level, because the house is up the hill, but it is a very nice walk.

Yes, the Red Room is a small double room and we do refer to it as a small double room and also give its dimensions on our web site so guests know when they book. It is very popular as a single room. Thank you for your comments.

We spent the day soaking in the beauty of Bath before heading to Weston Lawn. We were greeted warmly by Fiona and William and shown our room, which was on the second floor up a very tight staircase.
