Stayed at the Ashgrove this weekend and it's a great wee gem of a guest house. The owner is super friendly and helpful. The room itself was great for our needs and was freshly decorated. The ensuite was adequate, a more powerful shower would have been the cherry on top to blow away the cobwebs in the morning, but not...

Me and my wife stayed in ash grove guest house for one night as a last minute booking, what a bad mistake this turned out to be. The 'en suite' was tiny and very dirty, there were pubic hairs around the toilet, the shower was cold and the sink wasn't big enough to put your hands in, although it was big...

Stayed here for one night on Saturday 14th September whilst attending a period costume ball in Bath City Centre. Tracey was absolutely lovely, very helpful and attentive. Room 2 very nice, chic decoration with high ceiling and white, grey/purple colours. Macherator toilet was the only neutral, due to it's volume when flushed but only because it's the first one I've...

It's cheap and you can feel it. 1. We arrived at agreed time only to find out that there was nobody in the building to let us in. After phoning them up, we were adivced that the key to the door was left for us in a box. It wouldn't be a problem if we knew about it upfront. 2....

I stayed here on Saturday 13th October with my GF as we were in town. It did seem to be the only place in Bath that did single night bookings (most require 2 nights minimum). We arrived to a sign at the door that said 'phone Tracey' the mobile number was one digit too short..so that didn't work. We rang...

This was by far the worst guest house I’ve ever stayed in in the whole of Great Britain. I was planning a weekend away to Bath for me and my girlfriend and struggled to find anywhere centrally that wasn’t already booked (Bath is a very popular destination.) I managed to come across Ashgrove guest house on a third party website...

We spent last weekend at Ashgrove. On arrival at 7 pm on Friday we were met by a young lady working there who asked us to pay for our stay immediately as she was in a hurry to go for a drink. When I asked for a receipt she told me that I would get it on Saturday morning. I...

We stayed one night and it was one night too many. The staff we encountered were rude, there was no hot water in 2 out of 3 rooms we used, the bedding was unclean, and the rooms not properly cleaned. Avoid! The stay at this guest house spoilt our visit to a beautiful city.

“We did not choose a room, but I suggest asking for a back room when booking as B&B is on a very busy road, although the dining room is at the front of the house and we could not hear traffic but that might be the fact that classical music is played is the dining room at breakfast.”
