Spent a lovely evening here rejuvenating after the festival. Friendly staff, clean and spacious bedrooms. Nostalgic, Cozy b'n'b type feeling but with hotel standard facilities. Tasty breakfast. Would happily recommend, so much nicer than a 'chain' hotel. Charming building too

Looks impressive from the outside however as soon as you step inside you realise it is not impressive. Described as luxury accommodation this is just not true unless you normally live in a tent. The evening meal was awful and we had to eat in the breakfast room as the rotary club had taken over the restaurant area and we... More

We had a lovely one night stay at Meare Manor. It is in a perfect location being just a ten minute drive from Glastonbury town centre. Greeted straight away by smiling Graham, a true gent carrying my case to our room. We have no complaints at all. Perfectly cooked full breakfast the next morning too. Thank you

I booked through a website so the price was very attractive. Very warmly welcomed by Graham (The Owner). I had to prevent book the evening meal and time. The first time for a long time I had my bag carried to the room. The room was a little dated but very clean. Sheets not duvet was very impressed and slept... More

We stayed at Meare Manor for two nights to enjoy a small break in Somerset with some cycling, and found it a comfortable and friendly, unpretentious place. Meare is a small, quiet rural village, and the hotel is set in the main streeet. Our room was clean and comfortable, with ensuite bathroom and tea and coffee supplies. The breakfast room... More

The smell of old cooking oil is the first thing to greet you, horrid. We were taken to our room Arthur 1 by a very pleasant lady who said breakfast was from 8.30am and was that ok. We explained we were catering at a festival and needed to be away by 7.30 am, so were offered cereal and milk in... More

We came here on the way back form Cornwall to Birmingham after a few days away in order to break up the journey and visit the renowned local restaurant, The Sheppey (very worth a visit!). We were greeted warmly and showed up to our rooms - this level of service was maintained throughout our visit, and was much appreciated. We... More

Turned up at about 8:30pm after a rather long and arduous journey from London, was met with a rather full car park and began to mutter to myself "you get what you pay for" as I parked up in the main road. I entered the Manor via the front door and was greeted by Sue, who was also running a... More

booked a room with a four poster bed, for a overnight stay with my wife for her birthday, can honestly say it was worth it, the manor was easy to find, owners very welcoming, the room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and to round it off a nice freshly cooked breakfast, before we got back on the road
