Stayed for one night for a singing event in Wells. Our stay was very comfortable with a great breakfast. We had a quiet room at the back of the house. Not big but ideal for an overnight stay. Liz was very obliging and Wells is a beautiful city. We will return to see more of it.

Considering how I messed you about over rooms, your review was exceedingly kindly received - my grateful thanks. I'm glad the singing event went well, it sounded like it was going to be quite a long haul but I have had guests who attended, come back full of praise - so well done all of you! Liz Evans

Highly recommend No 23 for spotless, modern accommodation in a traditional 100 year old house. Comfortable beds with cotton bedding and decent pillows make for a good nights sleep. Factor in the excellent breakfast and free wi fi and why would you want to stay anywhere else whilst visiting Wells?

Oooooh - thank you - especially with some of the 'difficulties' (the olive oil for the chewing gum ground into the carpet was a learning curve, wasn't it!?) we had at the time! I'm very pleased you enjoyed Wells (and No 23) and hope you had a pleasant and safe journey home, and may the plaster come off soon! Warmest...

Lovely accommodation situated very close to town centre. Liz was extremely helpful and informative and I even got an upgrade to a double from a single room! There wasn't enough room to park at front so I had to leave my vehicle in a car park at rear but it was safe and not great shakes. Breakfast served in slots...

I actually felt rather guilty about you! It was unintentional that you had to park elsewhere (where I park my car just around the corner) so I am very pleased it wasn't too inconvenient! Many thanks for your kind review - it was very much appreciated and I hope the stay in Wells was a good one! With regards. Liz...

We have just returned from a stay at No 23 for a family funeral in Wells, this B&B is a real jewel in the crown we had the downstairs front room with the Japanese theme and beautiful curtains. Liz was a great host very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The English breakfast was the best my husband and...

After I Long Tiring Hot Journey form our Home to No 23, we were greeted by the Smiliest Welcoming face of our hostess and Landlady for the weekend Liz, who I must say broke the ice straight away by taking the mickey out of the fact I had been suffering with an eye infection (though I was getting over it),...

If I start calling you names again, Trip Advisor wont print this so I had better behave myself! Hello you two - that was the longest review I have ever had - my thanks indeed - and yes, it goes a long way to make up for 'you know who'!! I felt you had a very busy and hugely successful...

We have stayed three times here for two or three nights each time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a good place to stay in the area. The owner is very welcoming, the bathrooms and showers good and the breakfasts excellent. Parking outside is usually available and it's a 5 minute walk into Wells town (city) centre.

Thank you m'dear, for your kind review. I'm so thrilled the weekend went well - with a break in the weather just at the right time for the music - and I'm sure the crowds appreciated the effort that was put in to the event. My warmest regards. Liz Evans

We were travelling back from Dorset and had pre-booked this weekend and when we arrived we had a very warm welcome. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast excellent. I would highly recommend this B & B to anyone who is planning to visit Wells.

After a long and confusing day driving we arrived in Wells without a reservation at about 7 pm. Hubby was beyond cranky and just wanted to get out of the car for the night. We drove around a bit, stopped at a couple of places that either did not have rooms or did not have parking, and had decided to...

You see, small IS beautiful (including the fireplace in your room)! I am overjoyed that you had the necessary 'rest' day and enjoyed the sights and sounds of our delightful little city and I truly hope the rest of your trip was as successful - I suspect you are the kind of people who would make it work!
