Booked a 1 night stay as part of a kid free weekend and we found this to be a fab hotel... We had the Peake room in the stable block which retained its charm with wooden beams etc while also offering luxury bedding, beautiful decor, and modern bathroom which had an amazing shower! . I can't fault it at all....

My wife and I stayed at St Johns House on July 24th. We were in the Garden Room which is in a separate building from the main hotel, but certainly didn't lack any character as you sometimes find. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard. We had a lovely nights sleep. The breakfast was a highlight of...

This is a high quality B&B in a lovely old house. Super comfy beds, modern decor, friendly hosts and everything you need to hand. I stayed for a single night for a business trip. There are lots of restaurants in the centre of Lichfield so there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Situated in the heart of Lichfield St John's House is an impressive Georgian house which has undergone major renovation in recent times and the interior decor is impressive. The owner Dan and his family have gone to a great deal of effort in what I felt is probably still an on-going project. Having said that we were slightly disappointed with...

We stayed at St Johns House on Friday night because we wanted to break up the horrible journey that is Friday afternoon Manchester to London. We had only visited Lichfield for an afternoon a couple of years ago and loved this beautiful little city. Dan and Elly are wonderful hosts and have created a delightful B&B from what we now...

St Johns House's atmosphere made us feel very relaxed and this together with the attentive and efficient service makes it an excellent place to stay or hold a function. The food was delicious and very well presented. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
