What else could go wrong - the bathroom was not clean (?sick up walls and toilet base) and was mouldy - as was the wall right next to where my son was sleeping. His mattress was V shaped and really uncomfortable. We were not informed to enter our car reg on arrival so will have a parking fine. Too hot and not enough chairs in the restaurant so given plastic stools. Really noisy night due to cheer-leading party. We didn't even bother to stay the second night as planned - no refund given on site despite our complaint.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at the Hurricane as an overnight stop on a long journey from Scotland to the south on business. Hotel was, as always with Premier Inn, convenient, clean, spacious and comfortable, and I was glad to see the lighting had improved in the car park from our last stay, as leaving a fully loaded van out is always a little nerve-wracking. On waking, my husband found that he had so completely put his back out that he was entirely unable to get out of bed or even sit up (no fault of the bed! Back had twinged before we left, and seized up overnight). As you can imagine, this was all rather fraught with panic - far from home and with a big work commitment looming, along with check-out times and his obvious agony, I wasn’t too sure where to start! The staff on duty that morning (10/2) were all wonderful though - quickly made arrangements so we wouldn’t need to vacate the room on time if needed, advised of numbers to call, made sure we got breakfast, and, when we eventually decided to make a move to our final destination, offered multiple shoulders for Mark to lean on to make his way from the room to the van. For this we are both immensely grateful. (If I may make a suggestion to the powers that be, it would be to have a wheelchair available on site in all your hotels - just to help if someone should injure themselves while staying with you and just need help out to a waiting car)

Good location for what we needed. Great price, good food and service. We always opt for a Premium Inn if there is one in the location we require because of these factors. Staff very friendly and attentive also

Premier Inn, as usual have high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Although no evening meals are available here there is an excellent pub restaurant next door. Breakfast was on site. The eggs had been standing a while so were hard and the muffins disappeared and were not replaced. Would have liked more choice but good to see gluten free bread. Plenty of parking and the wifi worked!

The staff are amazing, really helpful and genuinely kind. The room was poor though, mainly the children's beds which were like sleeping on the pavement. We couldn't leave them in them every night for a week so we swapped each night. I can't understand why there is such a focus on the wonderful double bed and the kids get given these rock hard beds - don't they realise parents are only impressed if their kids are looked after? The kind staff had folded duvets to put under the bottom sheets to try and make it better - staff trying to overcome the problem when there should be decent beds or proper mattress toppers. The Wifi was also terrible, patchy at best and down completely for more than a day and there was mould in the corner of the room on the ceiling.

Only the second time we have stayed at a Premier Inn and what a pleasant surprise. From the moment we entered, we couldn’t have been looked after better. Nothing too much trouble! More than adequate car parking, dinner in premises adjoining, a perfect night sleep and a super cooked to order breakfast on the premises the following morning. The receptionist, Paige, couldn’t have been more helpful and full marks to the chef, breakfast was excellent. Well done, nothing short of perfect.

Bring back the Shire Horse breakfast!! The new breakfast room is too small , soulless and the variety isn’t as good as it used to be when the Shire Horse next door did the breakfast . It’s handy to the motorway and to the show grounds , the rooms are still up to premier inn standard but the whole breakfast room thing and having to book a time slot for breakfast takes away from the whole experience so got that reason I won’t be using this location again

Top floor room which overlooked the busy roundabout but the soundproofing was very good and I slept well. Breakfast room is small so I imagine it could be a crush in a busier season but was fine on my visit. Plenty of parking. There is also a large bank of electric vehicle very fast chargers just opposite which was great for me driving an electric vehicle.

Just need a place for the night to break a long journey. Have stayed at Premier Inn Stafford North, both the Spitfire and Hurricane sites and have been pleased with the quality of the room and service for the price you pay. On these occasions I have paid for the full breakfast as it is my way of starting the rest of my journey in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Food was good.
