I spent 2 nights in this hotel, overall my stay was ok, but was very disappointed to find that the bathroom had not been cleaned, and the bathroom bin was over flowing with sanitary products. When I brought this up to 2 different team members, 1 told me that this was not his usual hotel to work in, and the other gave me a customer satisfaction telephone number, neither took responsibility or offered to clean the bathroom or empty the bin. I also asked the staff cleaning the rooms the following day, however my room was not touched at all, apparently they were the wrong people to ask to clean the room!

Hotel's Favourite
From prior to arrival to leaving the staff were friendly and helpful. I was called the night before to ask if I would prefer an interconnecting room for my 2 bookings which was perfect as I was travelling with my friend and her son along with me and my two children. Room was standard and clean with no grumbles. The only issue I have had is that one of the rooms had zero toilet paper from us arriving and we asked for some on more than one occasion. Although interconnecting rooms it got a little awkward having to be giving my friend sheets of toilet roll for the toilet in her own room. The staff in brewers fayre were faultless. Especially the girls at breakfast who managed to source us a table of 5 without a booking when it was pretty much fully booked! Food was as expected and value for money. Definitely would look to book again when in the area.

Basic hotel that desperately needs updating. Bed in my accessible room was appalling. Old and desperately uncomfortable. Staff just shrugged and said sorry about that - asked for manage and not one available for over 5 hours. Appealing. Never again. Much worse that expected and unpleasant uncaring staff.

Hotel itself was fine apart from a bed frame and mattress that has reached the end of its life. Cleaners also didn’t remember to replace 2 towels so had to request one from reception. Breakfast and evening meals are at the Brewers Fayre next door. Service was very slow as they seemed to be understaffed and half the items on the menu were missing due to stock shortages. What food we did get was good.

Kettle leaked and so did the shower. The shower head wasn't sealed so was more of a downpour than a sprinkling. Not a quiet room policy as could hear conversation from room next door and their alarm clock going off in the morning

Visited on a Saturday night in February. The receptionists were friendly and offered to book us in at the Brewers Fayre restaurant when we checked in. However, when we arrived we were told it was a 1h 30 min wait for food so decided to go elsewhere. The receptionists were helpful and told us that the chinese buffet restaurant behind the Premier Inn did takeaway boxes for £5.50 so we did this instead (the chinese was also very busy so would have been a long wait to sit in). The room was more spacious than other premier inn rooms I've stayed in. But was a bit tired, with carpets coming away at the edges and the frame of the bed sticking through the material. The shower had very good pressure, but the extractor fans didn't seem to do a good job, so the bathroom walls got very wet.

Great value for money. Premier Inn never fails to provide the expected service. Breakfast is great value for money with plenty of choice, both for continental breakfast and full English breakfast. Eat as much as you like.

Hotel was great, excellent breakfast and dinner options. Staff were very helpful especially Beckie from the front desk, brought me additional towels when I asked straight away and couldn’t offer enough help to me throughout my stay. First class service
