I was visiting Stoke for a reunion stayed at the North Staffs Hotel as it was the closest to the event. The building could be amazing both inside and out. It is a very large traditional old building with many original features. Sadly it has been poorly kept over the years and in need of an entire refurbishment inside and...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on the Easter weekend. As it was a bank holiday we expected that there might be a party held in the hotel; we were in room 237 which is right above the "Ballroom" where there was a wedding party on, the music was very very loud and carried on until midnight. I...

Just came back from a quick visit to Stoke. The locatoin was great. Step off the train and it is just across the road. It is owned by Britannia group. They need to update the hotel roo.s and some of the other areas of the hotel. The bar area was nodern and well durnished. However the rooms were dated and...

I stayed here for 1 night at short notice and selected this hotel as it is located just outside the train station. On hindsight I should have found somewhere further away as sometimes going for location is not the best option. The exterior and history of the building is lovely and it is a shame that this hotel has been...

Very easy to find ! Beside the railway station, rooms are clean and tidy, had no complaints at all ! Staff were all friendly and helpful to me and my daughter. We had food at the bar - good portions and great value ! We would be happy to stay here again

Stayed for 1 night and that was enough. Room smelt damp, peeling paper on walls and ceiling, hole in the ceiling above my bed, curtains hanging off the window etc etc. Called at the bar before bed to be told there was not enough Gordon's gin for a full measure so had a whiskey but they had thrown the ice...

This hotel is directly across the road from the train station and close to the city centre and uni so is in a good location. This is probberbly the only good thing about the hotel but it's pretty much a dump but it is a budget hotel so I wasn't expecting much the room was very poky for a double...

I'm becoming more and more regular at the hotel. I've really enjoyed all my past stays and I'm looking forward to the next. I love the attitude of the staff its incredibly inviting , I think the hotel rooms are comfy and warm, There's obviously going to be need for improvements in a few places however for the price depending...

I had a very comfortable room and I took my dog with me. I found the staff very helpful and obliging. I cannot fault the hotel. The lunchtime menu is extremely good value for money. I have stayed at the North Staffs Hotel on several occasions and will continue to do so.
