Fantastic B & B close to Thorpeness, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings. The cooked breakfast was great and the hosts, Eugene and Heather, were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

We had a two night stay in May 2014 . This has to be one of the best b and b's we have ever stayed in, the standard of cleanliness was exceptional, we had an excellent breakfast and our bedroom was bright and well furnished with a lovely large shower room. Thank you .stephen and margaret

This was a truly comfortable stay in Heather & Eugene's beautiful home. Couldn't wish for better service or comfort and the food was very good. We would definitely recommend Swiss Cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions too!

e stayed at the Swiss Cottage on the 24th & 25th April 2014 to attend a friend's wedding. The B&B is perfectly located between Aldeburgh and Thorpness, with the centre of each being about 2 miles away in each direction. Upon our arrival, Helen, the owner of the cottage provided a friendly and warm welcome. She and her husband catered...

The need for a last minute getaway, just because we could, led me to search for accommodation in Suffolk, a county we had never visited before. Hotels seemed very expensive, but the excellent reviews for Swiss Cottage ( then ranked #1 in the area) gave me the confidence to book in. We were not disappointed. Greeted warmly by Heather when...

Heather and Eugene are great hosts. Swiss Cottage is lovely and comfortable with all the amenities you expect from a high end hotel. We especially like the attention to detail, anticipating that we would need an ironing board, fresh bottled water, etc. Our only minor suggestion would be to re-think the 10am check-out... We felt that is was a little...

All round excellence. A most comfortable and welcoming place to stay . Hosts create a friendly, warm and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms up to date, beautifully presented and well equipped. Good breakfast selection. Quiet location but not remote so getting around the area is easy and parking easy. We highly recommend and hope to stay again soon.

A very pleasant place to stay. It is spacious and well run with a good selection at breakfast and free WiFi. This is ideal for visiting the Snape Maltings for concerts but also handy for Aldeburgh, the coast and other places. We'll be back!

A very convenient place to stay, just minutes by car to centre of Aldeburgh. Lovely modern house and beautifully fitted out. Excellent bathrooms and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great and our hosts chatty and informative. Thoroughly recommend our stay to anyone.

The best B & B I have ever stayed in. The rooms were very comfortable and the décor was very tasteful. We received a warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The position just outside Aldeburgh suited us well - a two minute drive into the town. Can't think of any way in which it could be improved.
