I am not even kidding, this is probably the best afternoon tea I have ever experienced! I visit this spa for a lunchtime and massage deal atleast twice a year, but for once we decided to try the afternoon tea and it did not disappoint. I love a good spa day and even better with the afternoon tea. Highly recommend!

Had a one night stay arrived Sunday and home Monday the 21st May. This is a very old property previously a nursing home which has been converted to a Spa and Hotel. I would have given a five star rating if it was not for the fact the dining area looked so very very tired with leather chairs in need...

Spa day with sisters. Great facilities in an old building with panache. Lunch in the restaurant was great - not huge menu but during a spa day you don't need much fuel! The spa rooms are lovely, great pool and steam room. Gym is there too if you're feeling energetic!

Went for Swedish back and neck massage with , I think her name was Gini, the entire experience was over in approximately 15 minutes. Having asked not to get oil on my hair (recent hairdo), I came out with oily hair necessitating another hairdo. Massage was quite nice but felt very short changed. Will I go again? No Had a...

Dear Guest Jinnie was disappointed to read your review, she tried not to get oil onto your hair - as you can appreciate it can be difficult to avoid the bottom of the hairline with a massage. Im so happy you had a great experience in the restaurant, Josh was over the moon. Thanks Daryl

We visited the spa on a Sunday and whilst it was busy, we were attended to promptly and efficiently. We were taken to the restaurant and our day was explained to us and then we were shown around the facilities. I would have liked a complimentary tea or coffee but was told that this wasn't included and would have to...

I have visited Clarice House quite a few times over last 8 years, on my own and with my daughter from age 13 onwards where we had a fabulous time having treatments in the double treatment rooms as she was under 16.(She is now 21) I have also taken my mother over the years before it was Bannatynes. Sadly since...

What a disappointment, booked this spa day through a 3rd party for a birthday present. We arrived early in the day, hoping to have a late breakfast first to be told no breakfast available, really? At a hotel? We weren't greeted when we arrived, we were grunted at by a very miserable receptionist! From then we weren't guided through our...

Having had fab spa days in Bury when it was Clairce House, I and a friend were so excited for a relaxed girly day again this month. However, the welcome was not as friendly as it use to be, you are now charged extras for the use of a dressing gown and towel (not even just a deposit as you...

Stayed for a spa break with a friend as it was my birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival doing a tour of the facilities and showing us to our room. The room was amazing with fluffy robes and slippers and lovely towels. There were also Elimis shampoo and conditioner plus Elemis bath soak. We had treatments included...
