Set in wonderful peaceful grounds not far from main roads but completely unaffected by road noise. Given we would be returning late one evening we were delighted to find our room was separate from the main house with its own entrance and parking areas. The room was bright, clean and contained everything we could need, and more. Helen, the host,...

Excellent in every respect!! The cottage was clean, comfortable and very homely, the breakfasts delicious with great choice available, and the setting is gorgeous. Perfect base for any trip to the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

This B&B thoroughly deserves 5*! We booked for one night along with a new rescue dog. The hosts were warm and welcoming and made us a pot of fresh coffee which was very welcome. Our accommodation was spacious, warm and very clean. Lots of hot water for our showers in the morning. Another great bonus is the fact that we...

We recently stayed here for two nights which was a gift for our golden wedding anniversary. What a wonderful, thoughtful gift it turned out to be as we really love this area. We must have passed by the end of the lane many times on our way to The Maybush without realising this beautiful cottage existed. The ground floor room...

We booked the room on a very last-minute basis - 3/4hr before arrival - but were warmly welcomed by Helen. The room was lovely - fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting-room, bathroom, & 2 lovely mezzanine bedrooms, set in beautifully-kept gardens in a quiet country lane. The cottage was extremely clean and welcoming. I could write pages about the breakfast, which was...

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very friendly hosts, facilities are 1st class, gardens are lovely and great breakfast too; kept us going all day. The location is remote but that suited us. I think there is a lot to see and do around the area, pubs & restaurants etc. The WiFi was a bit hit or miss the first...

The house and grounds are beautiful. We had a compact double room just under the eaves but also had a large bathroom with lovely shower and lounge / dining room available for our exclusive use. Breakfast was delicious! Tasty, well presented and hearty! A couple of miles along the lane is The Maybush Public House which is situated on the...

I would highly recommend Thatched House Farm B&B. We had our own dining and sitting area in the conservatory. Rooms were clean and well furnished and the breakfast was fantastic. We were able to sit in the beautiful garden and enjoy the peace and quiet. We took our little dog and we were all made to feel very welcome.

we were located in the annex area for 3 nights which was lovely, home from home, self contained utilities and lovely views of the garden. on our fourth night we moved upstairs as there was a previous booking. Helen made this seamless and both rooms were very comfortable. As a bonus I received a lovely bottle of prosecco for my...

The setting of this cottage is lovely and it looks so pretty. Unfortunately we were in a very small room, which would have been better as a single , rather than a double. Lots of lovely touches from the owner abound both inside and out. The breakfasts were especially delicious and beautifully presented. However ours was served in a separate...
