Was looking for a hotel/restaurant to spend New Years Eve at and we found a delightful hotel in Woodbridge. The food was amazing, chef was accommodating as I’m a fussy eater. The rooms were spacious and clean - we had a king room with a view of the Market Square. The atmosphere was welcoming, and Sarah and her team were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Even when I was deciding what to drink they suggested ideas, and took things up to our room for us as we left our key in the room. Was a fantastic stay and if you are visiting Woodbridge, I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be returning.
We visited for Sunday dinner. We had an amazing roast with great sides. The staff were very friendly and our host was fantastic. The pub has a very warm and cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend The Bill Inn for a family meal out or a date! We will definitely be back! Dog friendly country pub with welcoming staff and fantastic food. Could not fault it
Great stay at The Bull with family as a base to explore Suffolk. Very friendly and helpful staff, and food was excellent. Rooms were very comfortable. Basically an lovely easy and comfortable place to stay!! PS go to Sutton Hoo - incredible!
Very friendly, helpful staff throughout our stay. The room (room 2) was lovely, spacious and beautifully furnished - gorgeous sofa! - super king bed. Good sized bath plus separate shower, generously sized towels (still soft!). Good choice at breakfast - smashed avocado on sourdough with poached egg very good and mini Danish pastries delightful! We ate in one evening - main menu a little disappointing on the vegetarian front but had starter tartlet with added chips, very good chips! Service at all meals was good. Just a couple of minor things: it would have been nice if the tv was on the wall opposite the sofa, instead of having to sit on bed to watch it. Also, it would be helpful to have a handle/bar on wall to assist with getting out of the bath! Would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommended the hotel.…
I stayed one night as I was visiting a relative in Woodbridge. I found the hotel staff very helpful and attentive and the room was very clean and comfortable. The building is very old so does have some quirks, but this just added to the charm. I had other family members staying nearby and we had a very good dinner in the hotel. I had been slightly nervous as I haven’t stayed alone in a hotel for some years, but I felt very safe and the staff were excellent. It is quite difficult to find a time when we can all find time to visit together, so I am very pleased I have found somewhere I would be very happy to stay on my own when visiting my Woodbridge relative. The breakfast was also very good with a good choice ranging through from a lighter breakfast to a full english. I would definitely try and book The Bull Inn as my first choice next time.…
