My husband and I just celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at this wonderful hotel. 11 of us family and friends all stayed overnight. Leading up to our celebration the Manager Rob Dixon was first class and carried out all that we asked. His team are brilliant from the bar staff waitresses/waiters and the chefs. The food was amazing, every course. We had the Deben Room so had a private dining area. The staff are so efficient, warm and friendly always with smiles on their faces. Cannot thank everyone enough you sure made our 50 years together a stay to remember. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay, hotel situated centrally in a very picturesque town. The room was nice, staff lovely and the full English each morning very good! We stayed in room 1 and the WIFI didn’t reach it, I had to go out into the corridor to get a connection.

My wife and I planned a three night break at The Crown in an attempt to revive ourselves after so many disappointments brought about by Covid. This was our third visit and by no means would it be our last. Everything about the hotel is designed with one aim and that is to make a stay as enjoyable as possible and in this it succeeded in every way. The staff, the room, the food was all of the highest standard. My one misgiving with regard to the food is that it was so good that I overate and increased my bodyweight by six pounds????? On our last night I managed to tip the best part of a large glass of red wine over my wife. Her dress was soaked so she returned to our room and changed; the dress was taken away and hand washed by a member of staff; she said this was safer than a machine wash. The dress was hung up and was dry by morning. Enough gilding of lillies. We loved it and shall return.

We had a superb meal at The Crown recently. Beautifully cooked and presented - no wonder it was difficult to get a table. The staff are friendly and efficient and the restaurant is tastefully decorated in a minimalist style. Ate there again for Sunday lunch, another excellent meal.

We came here for dinner on our first night on holiday in Woodbridge. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and there was a well-priced wine list. The service was very friendly and attentive without being fussy. We liked it so much that we decided to return for brunch a few days later. Again, it was excellent- my scrambled egg and smoked salmon in particular was the best I've ever tasted! No wonder this place was busy every time we visited- I highly recommend it for food and/or drinks.
