We went here for a visit to Suffolk last summer, it's a great find. We wouldn't normally pay this much (£110) although it was a great experience with tea and cake on the patio when we arrived. Our room overlooked the churchyard so very peaceful. There was no TV in the room which made the occasion all the more special,... More

I stayed here with my family for my wedding. My now husband stayed with his best man and ushers the night before and then I joined him with my family the night after. I cannot fault the excellent attention to detail, beautiful scenery and stunning cleanliness! All of the rooms were stunning. The breakfast was delicious and the staff could... More

We had the whole of The Old Rectory for 14 family members for the weekend to celebrate my 50th and my daughter's 18th!! The house is amazing. Bedrooms comfortable and beautifully decorated. Gardens are georgeous. Feels like a home from home and was great to have our breakfasts and one evening meal all together in the dining room. Nothing was... More

My wife and I stayed here for her birthday weekend at the end of March. By chance we picked a weekend when the weather was fantastic, but even if it was pouring with rain I don’t think that would have made this place any less desirable. The owners are very welcoming and manage to pull off the trick of being... More

We have just got back from the most fabulous Easter weekend at The Old Rectory. The house and gardens are beautiful, and because the weather was so lovely we enjoyed our afternoon teas (complete with homemade rose and pistachio cake!) sitting on the sunny terrace each afternoon. The sitting room was also a great place to enjoy a drink before... More

We had two nights in The Old Rectory and it was practically perfect in every way. A lovely old house, attractive gardens and large, airy and comfortable bedrooms. A very warm welcome and delicious tea in the drawing room set the tone for our stay. We were given good advise on where to have dinner and a table was booked... More

We recently spent 4 totally relaxing nights in the Maple Room at the Old Rectory. The old building and gardens are truly beautiful. A plus point for us is the welcome we get and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome - with tea and a friendly chat in the drawing room - even Hector & Trev (the... More

Stayed here a few weekends ago with my family and I have to say, it was the perfect weekend retreat! My two daughters stayed in a room with two single beds which was perfect for the kids! Not to mention, the beds might have been the comfiest we've all slept in! The staff and owners were absolutely wonderful, and they... More

Me and my husband, stayed at this charming property in early January. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We were shown to our room, which was extremely clean and well presented. It was very spacious with a super king size bed, sofa and large amounts of floor space. The... More
