This is a lovely hotel and much improved over the last five years. If you are looking for some peace and pampering this is certainly the place. The staff are brilliant and anything they can do to make your stay comfortable will be done. It is a hotel that has everything. Congratulations to the gardener as well the grounds are...

Beautiful approach to the Hotel, well tended and cared for gardens. This is a building of character dating back to 1530, but don't be put off by that as the bedrooms are totally modern with excellent facilities. We were in room 24 and had a balcony overlooking the gardens and small lake. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The...

My parents treated us to a night away as a Christmas present. It was a present well worth waiting for. The hotel is amazing. We loved the od features and the fact that there are no notices saying 'don't sit on this' etc. It was lovely to see the history and feel at home in it. The rooms are very...

As a building it has great character in plesent surroundings. As a hotel it's very average for the above average price. The room was again ok but looking a bit shabby around the edges. The breakfast selection was nothing special, the cooked breakfast was very ordinary. Getting a seat at breakfast also seemed a struggle for some on a busy...

Hotel has been renovated not that long ago so you get the Country House without the run down feel. We have stayed in some where to say the least they need renovating badly. We were in one of the Junior suites which we would thoroughly recommend. Contemporary but very tasteful and spotlessly clean. We arrived on a sunny day so...

My sister, husband and I spent two nights at Seckford Hall with a Waitrose special offer. We found it to be a most comfortable venue with plenty of character. The staff were friendly and efficient, the bed comfortable and the food delicious. Although there were a couple of niggles with the room, such as a brighter light needed in the...

A restaurant of 5 guests in total - waited 30 minutes for our champagne which we were wrongly given cheap house prosecco - stale bread and fridge cold butter - the slow roast lamb was lamb leg steaks which needed a steak knife - we simply sent the food back. The menu had 4 options for each course both fish...

We have stayed here twice, one room had many of the original features, the other one not so many and one was definitely better than the other.
