Plenty of choice for breakfast, including a full English. Paul, the owner is a chef and it tells in the quality of the food. Smashing evening meals and nothing is too much trouble. Very attentive service and comfortable rooms with digital television and tea/coffee facilities. No bath in my room, but a more than adequate shower. I am very surprised...

Thanks Tony - we always value customer comments - even the bad ones. The sticker on the door was placed after the previous comment was made. Its always difficult to strike a balance with this sort of thing. We want customers to have 24 hour access so we give customers a key to come to come and go as they...

This hotel was warm and welcoming on our overnight stay with a comfortable room providing everything needed for our stop-over. We were shown round by a pleasant young lady who explained the best walking route into Woodbridge. The manager was interesting to talk to and it was clear that he enjoyed meeting new people and extending hospitality to the guests....

Having booked an over night stay at said hotel which coincided with a best friends wedding and a birthday treat for my husband, we were very much looking forward to a night away from home and a much needed break. On arrival the manger seemed pleasant (which later was not the case) and we checked in as usual. We were...

Firstly, I would just like to say that I am as deeply disappointed that this situation has occurred as you are. The bottom line of your complaint is the fact that you were locked out at 1.30 am. For this I apologise. I do not make excuses or as you infer - tell lies. So as not to restrict our...

We stayed here for just a couple of nights after booking it in a hurry. A relative then informed us it was right next to the dual carriageway so we took earplugs expecting a couple of sleepless nights. We had a room at the back that was so peaceful it could've been out in the middle of nowhere. Wonderfully friendly...

My wife and I stayed at The Grove House Hotel for a short break. Being on the edge of Wood bridge made it an ideal place to stay. With easy access to the surrounding area. Suffolk has a lot to offer, and a lot to see and do. The hotel makes an ideal base.

This was a fab find. Central to most attractions; most were less than 20 miles away and some less than 10. The host was warm and welcoming and had taken the trouble to put us in adjoining rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and well furnished. A nice set of tea, coffee and biscuits with bottled water. The breakfast...

We arrived there on one of the hottest days of the year and when showed our room, were dismayed to find it was a very small twin room at the front of the hotel on a very busy main road. The room was triple glazed and this would have been enough to keep the road noise out, except the weather...

Well appointed hotel with nice grounds and ample parking. Nice personal check-in showing us to rooms and imparting information. Rooms nice, comfortable bed, good tea and coffee facilities and welcome addition of bottled water. Bathroom good but in need of a face lift. Very slow toilet cistern. Nice powerful shower but decoration/fittings in bathroom needs a refresh. Breakfast excellent quality...

The people were very friendly and room very clean. Plenty of choices for breakfast and very quick with the service. Our only complaint would be that you cannot get coffee and tea in the bar when the other guests are having an alcoholic beverage.
