My wife and myself stayed here,we were given the room number 5,four poster bedroom. W couldn't be more happy with our room. The bed was clean comfy and the room was well presented. My wife had her own dressing room, the on suite bath room consisted of a twin sink area shower and a very large double bath. We had a walk...

OMG - what a gem. Beautiful grounds and a room to die for. We had the 4 poster suite and there was even a gilded dressing room hidden behind doors that matched the many wardrobes. Huge room, gorgeous comfy bed and lovely views over the gardens. Only thing lacking was a fridge - a tiny one would be enough lol....

The house was very clean and pleasantly decorated with an oriental influence. The hosts were efficient and obliging with any requests. There are not any meals available other than breakfast, which is continental only, the choices at breakfast are fresh fruits, cereals (not the boxed rubbish that is usual) fresh juice, beautiful croissants and toast. Tea and coffee facility in...

Stayed for 1 night, was given the most beautiful room that would rival a 5* hotel in Bali. The decor, double spa bath & hidden dressing room in the wardrobe were stunning - Cant believe the rates were so cheap. Visit the restaurant next door, La Taverna for great food & company!

Stayed one night on our way to York, great old building with fabulous gardens. Certainly a hidden treasure in a very busy area. Our room was huge with a four poster bed, enormous bathroom and even a dressing room ! Parking on site and free wi fi.

This was a very nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and bright. The bed was pretty comfortable. The room was spacious and the breakfast was big and good. There was a sink in the room which was nice since bathrooms are shared. We made reservations for this place months in advance and the only unfortunate thing was that...

We booked without knowing where this was in relation to an event our son was taking part in so were very surprised to find it was very near to the route. The hotel is a gem very nicely decorated big rooms but shared bathrooms in the annex which we don't mind maybe some people would. There are very nicely kept...
