Last January I chose Hedley Hall from the internet for a 3 night stay over the May Day holiday weekend. What a fantastic choice this turned out to be. Hedley Hall is set in the countryside with great views and perfect peace and quiet, yet it is only minutes away from both Gateshead, Newcastle and for the ladies the Metro...

My daughter and I were treated to a stay here by my mother and father who had stayed at Hedley Hall last year for a few days and loved it. I have to say I totally agree with there opinion. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully kept...

We stayed here very recently for the first time and found Hedley Hall to be one of the best places we've ever stayed at. The bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean and very well presented. The bed was very comfortable, we had a peaceful night and a great sleep. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Brenda is obviously someone that puts...

Brenda our host was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for her, everything about Hedley Hall was perfect. We were initially going to stay at one of the hotels in Newcastle but could not get booked in for the Saturday evening so thankfully looked a couple of miles away, we were so pleased we did. Everything about Hedley Hall was...

Hedley Hall is a beautiful place, immaculately presented. Décor and comfort were second to none. Communal areas were lovely, bedrooms VERY spacious each with lovely en suites. The cottages were equally well provided, to high standard. The whole setting is idyllic, couldn't be faulted. Brenda is also an excellent host. We were gathering for our family reunion and Brenda helped...

I can't praise Brenda highly enough. She runs a lovely establishment. We were in the North East to attend a gig at The Little Theatre in Gateshead. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome - she brought us up some fresh milk so we could make a brew (the only tiny issue was she didn't...

Brilliant B&B. Rooms are clean, airy and enormous. The breakfast was outstanding (you have to try the kippers!) and Brenda was super-attentive throughout our weekend (without being intrusive). The hall is set in some beautiful grounds and the hall itself is just lovely. I would thoroughly recommend that anyone walking the wall or staying near Newcastle tries Hedley Hall

I stayed at Hedley Hall in early September for three nights with my Mum & Aunt. We had a room each and all three rooms were outstanding in quality and facilities. Mine was huge, had a superking sized bed and a sofa with acres of space to swing several cats in between. Everything was spotlessly clean, the ensuite shower room...
