when we arrived we were greeted by a super friendly and smiley Scottish gentleman. He joked with us and looked after our bags whilst we went into Town to explore, as our room was not ready as we arrived early. When we checked in they had very kindly taken our bags up to our room, which was a lovely touch....

We stayed here while having a Saturday night out in Newcastle. The hotel is perfectly situated just a couple of minutes by taxi away from the bars and restaurants of Newcastle. The hotel has an Indian restaurant joined to it which looked nice, but we didn't have time to try it. You can buy alcohol, water and snacks at the reception....

Dear Tonyntracy, Thank you for taking time to leave some feedback. I am sorry you had a problem with the window in the bedroom, I shall have maintenance have this checked, as shouldn't rattle. The windows are traditional sash windows, and in keeping with the restrictions with being a listed building. The bed in that particular room is fairly new...

I've stayed here a couple of times on business. On both occasions that staff have been very friendly and helpful. The room is nicely decorated and feels quite modern with its creme and brown colour scheme. The room is well-appointed with wardrobe, safe, tea try and the like. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

A very clean hotel. One of the cleanest hotel bathrooms I have ever seen. A little bit of a walk to the city centre, very quite in the morning. Would definitely stay here again when I am looking for a hotel in Newcastle
