Myself and five friends decided to spend New Year's Eve in Newcastle. Newcastle being my home town, I was excited to show the city off (We currently live in North Wales). We made a last minute booking, and I was pleased at the result, because I knew Jesmond was a lovely area. Finally after a five hour drive, we arrived...

We rang two days before to book the room and ask about parking as we explained that I could not walk very well. They explained that there was on street parking right outside but to get a parking permit we had to pay £1 (I dont really see how thats fair but its only a £1) We got a warm...

This is a classic, English Guest House in a leafy suburb of Newcastle. 10 minutes walk to the Jesmond Metro and then 10 minutes on train to Newcastle Central. The location is quiet and has a few basic shops in close proximity. The double room is well appointed and better than many I've stayed in. This trip I was solo...

Very nice area, walking distance to city centre, good on street parking (£1.00 per day for permit from B&B) Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Unfortunately we felt that our room was too small and cramped. To be fair: We were initially offered a bigger, better, brighter room one...

This entire town was full of friendly people. At The Avenue the people were very nice, the rooms are clean, and it has a nice shower. The breakfasts are outstanding with a choice of hot items, plus fruit and cereals. It is a quiet place so no disturbances to wake one. On the negative side, there weren’t any chairs in...

Nothing fancy here but adequate & convenient. Really nice staff, we arrived at 9.30 a.m., far too early to check in but very tired after a morning flight. Julie made us a cup of coffee and let us drink it in the breakfast room while she got our room ready, very kind of her and much appreciated. Our room was...

A small quiet comfortable hotel in an inner suburb of Newcastle. We stayed here six nights and slept well every night. The staff were friendly and helpfull. We will use this hotel again. The breakfast food was simple but well prepared and promptly served.

Had a brief stay whilst on business locally, the staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was a very good size and nice and clean. The bathroom was a little small but that's me being picky...This hotel is great value for money, it's a little tired in some areas but overall very well kept, the breakfast is plentiful with...
