We arrived to find that the family room of 2 single beds and a double bed was just a request, and even though our booking showed that we had requested this, the owner said it was in the terms and conditions that is was just a request and that we should have phoned ahead and confirmed that we would get...

Lets start on a positive. Staff were really friendly and would do anything asked. Arrived to find that wrong type of room had been booked and it cost us extra to use an extra room. Now this might have been the fault of the booking site but its something they need to get sorted out between them. The hotel is...

Two metro stations are also within walking distance, and we actually even walked to the city centre and was nice (some 25...

This hotel should be rated 5 star for the price. Smart, clean room and comfatable bed. Lovely breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. The bar is well stocked and cheap for the area. Well located for the bars and 15 min walk into Newcastle city centre. Handy for buses or the metro system.
