Lovely hotel, but it was made really special by the service. Chocolate birthday message on arrival was lovely, and I've been told by my girlfriend that I have to give special mention to Tom's mojito making skills! Best in Newcastle apparently. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful, making it a genuinely memorable stay.

We stayed here for a birthday weekend celebration. From the minute we walked into the hotel we were surrounded with a wonderful ambiance and quality decor. Checkin was straightforward and the receptionist Sydney was so helpful polite and professional dealing promptly with all our questions. Our room was on the 4th floor with a spacious balcony. Not much of a...

I stayed for three nights on business (by myself). I needed to be in the centre of the city so location was perfect. The room was spacious enough and had free wifi (not real fast but OK) and good power outlets (incl USB chargers etc). Happily go back again. The only negative was that my room overlooked a pub or...

I got to stay here unexpectedly thanks to a very delayed train, and the pancakes and rest of my delicious breakfast helped make up for the inconvenience of a night away from home. I did not check in till late and the receptionist was suitably empathic, which gave a great first impression. My room was a good size, very clean...

My mam came to purchase vouchers on the 22nd of May for my birthday today, needless to say I didn't get any thanks to the very unpleasant and rude staff. My mam was wearing her lounge pants and approached the desk to purchase some and was informed in a off manner that you can only purchase £50 which is want...

Stayed for one night on business, the rooms are lovely, with complimentary water and soft drinks in the fridge, in room safe and wifi. The staff are very friendly and the service was great. Food was good too. The only downside, a minor point is breakfast is too order so you need to give enough time for it to be...
