Stayed for 1 night just me and my son. Water in the room smelt of rotten eggs. Shared bathroom which had s@@t up the WALLS Nd on the toilet roll dispenser. Made me think of very run down changing rooms. Glad our stay was less than 12hrs as I don't think I could have stayed any longer.

Shared self cleaning toilets and showers which were spotless. Also a well equipped kitchen with, cooker, microwave, fridge and kettle for all to use.Really friendly staff who took their time out to have a chat, especially Sue the manager.Overall a really laid back hotel...

I went here with 7 of my friends and the low cost still provided a great service. The staff will look out for you and have a laugh with you. Great for young people who like a party. Overall, although very basic, happy with the service.

The low price seems too good to be true... and it is. You are expected to hand over a cash deposit of more than the room fee and it's probably not as good as the last barracks I stayed in. Showers and toilets are effectively cupboards in the corridor, and it's obviously a UK attempt to bring French F1 motels...

Couple of positives, they take groups of lads an clean sheets (I hope) apart from that avoid like the plague otherwise you might end up with it. If you do stay make sure you have a sense of humour as seeing is believing

My rugby club came up to Newcastle for a rugby tournament and this hotel met out financial needs. We were greeted upon check-in by staff and paid a deposit of £50 for each room. The rooms are basic, sleeping two in a double and one in a single bunk bed set up. There was a tv and a sink in...

Ok so upon first impression of the metro inn which is now still no where near the standard of the Bates motel it seemed ok. However...the rooms are tiny, you have to enter one at a time, they smell. Our sink blocked in the night and stunk. The 3rd floor stunk of weed. The mattress was tiny, the room was...
