the hotel room itself was lovely , the breakfast was great and location was prefect. although the room was rather dirty (e.g bedding was stained and had marks on it , hair in bath drain , brown marks on floor , marks all over walls and wrappers under bed ) the window also doesn’t open so was really warm at times and just would of been nice to get some fresh air in , the telly volume also doesn’t go past 15 so was struggling to hear some things

Hotel's Favourite
Im so glad we picked this hotel! From the moment we arrived to the time we left, every staff member at the hotel was so kind, friendly and welcoming. The room we had was spacious, clean and the beds were so comfortable. No mean feat given they'd apparently had a full changeover that day. I was a bit worried when we arrived pre-match (not planned) that it was going to be noisy, but our room on the 4th floor overlooked a car park and we didn't hear a think from outside. The room was pretty hot when we arrived, but the air con worked a treat and kept us lovely and cool. The breakfast was delicious too. Brilliant location and we were able to walk to wherever we needed to go. Lots of great food choices nearby. If we are ever in Newcastle again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

What a wonderful stay. Every single member of staff was nothing but kind helpful and accommodating witch made our stay all the more pleasant. The rooms where so clean and well put together. I was so happy with my stay. The kids where all so excited and overwhelmed with joy. This holiday was a well earned and needed break and Premier inn @ the gate was a massive success and we will be staying again next year and for longer this time too!

I thoroughly enjoyed my Premier Plus Room (101) and as Autistic Person the extra flexibility with the Softer Lighting which was adjustable to my needs by the bed and in the bathroom was just great. I loved the room 😀. I also had amazing service from the Premier Inn Guys and Girls. I also love the Art Deco Conversion of the Old Cooperative Society Department Store building which is sensitively done and love the extra history titbits scattered throughout the grand staircase with the display cases showing heritage Co Op artifacts. I also had amazing service from the Bar + Block Team as a person who also has cerebral palsy greatly helped me out with the self-serve aspect of breakfast by bringing things to my table and helping to cut things up for me. Big shout out to Aspy who helped me on the Saturday for my first breakfast. Shaun who went above and beyond helping me on Monday and Tuesday morning for breakfast. He is an absolute credit to the team and as well as helping me with breakfast also helped me with the local knowledge on how to use the metro as a rail enthusiast on the Monday. Also another Big shout out to James the weekend manager for helping me with my Sunday breakfast. Special credit goes to the other James, who is the general manager he should be so proud of his team and he himself helped me with breakfast on my last day on the Wednesday morning. Lastly, I want to thank Molly for amazing service on Friday night when I Had dinner at the bar and block. She was so friendly and accommodating especially when I didn't get my starter as part of the meal deal. She sorted it all out and there was no fuss. Another friendly face. Please pass on my major. Thanks to James and his team at the bar and block for being so accommodating with somebody with anxiety and cerebral palsy and autism. I will be back! 😀

Had a Premier plus room, although booked for 2 people only set up for 1 things missing out of the room, (bottled water, only 1bath towel, etc). Pillows and bed not to the usual standard. No hot water from the taps on the 1st day.
