The Old Bakery is a quiet retreat for a great range of ales and lagers and a nice atmosphere for meeting friends. Set in the high street of the old town it provides an alternative to the hustle of town.

We had a perfect wake for my father here, great service, personal yet highly professional. Very good quality catering and drinks, worth every penny, not the cheapest but very, very good value nonetheless. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Visited the old bakery for a drink and it's great. Small and cosy, friendly with a very good selection of ales, beer and wine. It's unpretentious and simple - highly recommended as a local bar or as a passing visitor.

I'm not absolutely sure but I know it's not many as it's only a small place, but they do have a website it might be best to look on there.

I've never seen a dog there and I would not patronise an establishment that permitted them. Ask the owners.
