Stayed here for a week for work to find a basic at best room with a broken bed and staff that really didn't seem to care and then to go for a drink in the bar to be asked to remortgage my house to pay for it. Not good value at all

Lovely, clean and friendly hotel. Easy walk into town, just a couple of minutes. Parking available (free) and the Raffles restaurant was just superb. Nice bar area and just a great stay - will definitely return - especially for a meal!

I would really like to give The Peacock a higher score, but first it needs to address a few things. First of all I will say that the service is first rate, very attentive staff without being pestering, and do their very best to meet guest's needs. The food from the Raffles restaurant is also very good, I had an...

Everything was very clean, the staff were lovely and the beds were super comfy. The food, both in the evening and the breakfast, was delicious. (The poached eggs were perfect!) We'd definitely stay again if in the area.

The sat nav took us easily to the hotel. Parking was easy enough with plenty of spaces available. The first night we stayed in a very nice double room (001). The décor was good, there were all the usual facilities one would expect in your room i.e. a kettle, bath, etc. Everything was clean and tidy and worked well. There...

room was very clean and spacious, staff very helpful. The only down point was a loud buzzing coming from under our room on one of the mornings which was quite annoying and meant we couldn't sleep in (it was New Years Day), apart from this is was a great stay and we would use again when visiting friends in Keniworth.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had the cooked breakfast which was fine. A nice surprise - They found out that it was my birthday and gave us a free room upgrade.

Hotel very nice and staff are really attentive. Room was good, food was excellent. My only issue is that the sound proofing between floors was not as good as it could have been so you hear the people moving around in the room above. Without this minor annoyance the rating would be excellent

Friendly hotel with good facilities. Bedroom was more than adequate for short stay and bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good. It is well located and met all of our needs. We would stay again when visiting family.
