Lovely B&B, well kept and very pretty in a traditional style and only 10-15 min walk from the town centre. The main highlight of our stay however, had to be the host, Bill. He made us feel very welcome and gave lots of helpful tips and suggestions for our stay in Stratford. The homemade cake was great too, as was... More

Thank you Bill for making us feel so welcomed and at home, with a well needed coffee on arrival! For all the information we needed to pursue our Shakespeare adventure, and interesting anecdotes and ideas on what to do. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. It was a pleasure meeting you, warm regards from the Martins!

My first time to Statford and I wasn't disappointed. Had a lovely two nights at Moss Cottage and Bill was the perfect host. Off road parking, a lovely en suite room with a tasty breakfast. A straight forward walk into town took approx 15 mins. What more could you ask for. Hope to visit again next year. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at Moss Cottage. Bill, our host, was very kind and helpful, even providing transportation to and from the train station and coffee and cake when we got to the Inn! Our room was quite comfortable (the only place in the UK where the bed had a top sheet instead of just a duvet) and breakfast... More

I'm almost reluctant to post a review as I don't want to miss out on rooms in future if you all rush to stay at Moss Cottage. But I figure they can't really live on my yearly visit so here goes. I've stayed in lots of B and Bs in Stratford, visiting once or twice a year for theatre. They've... More

When we arrived in town by train, we called to see if we could check in a bit early, Bill said sure and said he'd be right over to pick us up. When we needed to leave, we asked if he'd call us a cab and he said he'd give us a ride. This saved us about 15 pounds and... More

This B&B was not quite as close to the Shakespeare's Birthplace as we had expected and quite a walk to Anne Hathaway's. We had to cross a very busy road. There are buses into the town. However, it suited our purposes. We were looked after very well by Bill. He gave us afternoon tea upon arrival and cooked a lovely... More

I have been at Bill's B&b for one night, the room was clean and comfortable, great attention for details. The car park is superb, I could see my car from the window. Excellent breakfast and great tips about the local pubs, I would strongly recommend!
