My wife and I have just returned from a five night stay at this hotel. We found everything about it to be excellent, the staff were very smart, helpful, friendly and always cheerful. The room we had, although smallish, was immaculate and perfectly adequate for our needs. The food was all excellent!
Recently stayed for one night booked a triple room and was allocated room 21 . The room looked newly decorated. It was spacious and spotlessly clean . It had extras such as shampoo / shower gel and hand wash , tea coffee etc . the beds were so comfortable and the bedding and towels good quality their were extra pillows in the wardrobe if needed . our room over looked the garden in the annexe and was so quiet . Although the doors do creak and sometimes slam ,this can’t be helped as they are fire doors . Breakfast was excellent also had evening meal / carvery which again very good. Both self serve but the hotel staff make sure each table goes up one at a time not to develop a queue making it Covid safe as can be . Tables were also spaced out well . The hotel is 2 miles from Stratford upon Avon so you would need a car although I believe their is a bus service or local taxi . I would certainly stay again and recommend for the price I paid with breakfast I felt it was very reasonable…
We stayed for one night and couldn’t fault it. The rooms were lovely and clean, bright and airy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was perfect! Only an 8 minute drive into town. Would definitely come back.
Stayed 4 nights. Clean spacious room with lots of storage. Spacious bathroom with toiletries with bath and shower. Tea and coffee in room and a hairdryer. Breakfast included in our stay and it was good variety, extra items available to order with staff. If it is busy there were times we could not order as staff busy serving other tables. Have to drive to town which is OK as we know area well but need to factor in cost of parking in town. It is in a quiet area so we had no issue with noise when trying to sleep. Free parking outside.
What a lovely hotel this was , perfect location within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon, a bus stop opposite or a reasonably priced taxi ride to avoid the need to hunt for a parking space in the busy town . The rooms were well equipped ( iron and ironing board available on each hallway ) clean and very comfortable . The staff were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant both nights we stayed and the food was delicious . Would definitely recommend this place
