Having read trip advisor on this pub/hotel we arrived with trepidation, but I must say all 11 of us were pleasantly surprised.ok the rooms could do with lick of paint and maybe a bit of updating but the rooms themselves were very clean, the bedding was very fresh and the smell of smoke wasn't apparent.im not trying to say it's always...

Avoid this place at all costs, we arrived on Saturday evening and were told where to find the room. Upon entering we looked around to find a hold in one of the walls, stained walls dirty carpet that was lifting at the edges and only cold water from what was a very weak shower. We left within 10 minutes to...

Booked a family room for one night. Reasonably priced at £85 so didn't expect too much. Parking area looked like a building site with very little space for vehicles. Pleasant young lady showed us to to 3. The windows were wide open but the room smelled musty. The smoking area was right outside the window so smoke and conversation drifted...

My wife and I stayed two nights. On arrival we were directed up some shabby stairs to room number 2. The room smelt stale and smoky. We were at the front of the building on a busy road with no double glazing. The window was filthy. There was no bedside lamp, no toilet brush and no hair dryer. We asked...

On arrival were told our room was not available and we'd been moved into a twin room. The beds were different heights. Room very basic, hooks for pictures but nothing on wall, dirty marks everywhere, lock on door loose and whole place very dated. We wanted to turn around and leave but had no option but to stay amongst the...

From the minute I got to this B&B I was pleased I booked it. I arrived on the Friday later than I thought - got checked in straight away and shown to the room. Having worked 7 years in a 4* hotel I was already impressed. Got to my room (room 4,) and was a bit taken aback - a...

Booked two rooms at the Black Horse Inn whilst we made a visit to nearby Warwick Castle. First of all, the parking is totally inadequate for the pub and B&B itself. The carpark was completely full and surrounding streets are all permit holders only, so we had to temporarily park in a nearby supermarket until we could clarify excactly where...

This accommodation was ok but only for a stopover. Our room no 2 in the main building was very small and the loo and shower were very cramped. The beds were ok at least we slept well but that may be because we were shattered! We found the staff very helpful and cheery . After a long day on the...
