Stayed for 3 nights, the room was lovely - very clean, tidy and spacious. The staff were great, always very helpful when booking taxis, giving directions or just on a general making you feel welcome basis. Me and my boyfriend were late down to breakfast on our last morning and they still allowed us to eat, even though they had...

I stayed for five nights. The room was fine nothing special just what you expect, although it did have a bit of an odd smell to it. The only thing that stands out to me is the breakfast: don't get it. For whatever reason they can only serve scramble egg which after five days I was yet to be convinced...

Stayed here for one night with a friend before going to the Clothes Show at the NEC. Location is a bit out of the way, not really central Birmingham but can't really complain for the price. Hotel room was clean, had some issues with the wifi that we had paid for on booking the room, couldn't connect from 3 o'clock...

Stayed on the night of Friday 13th November 2015. Have stayed here about 5 times previously when we have visited the Jamhouse which is only a few minutes walk away. As previously great value for money and simple but comfortable surroundings. The room was the cleanest one we have had and the staff were as friendly as usual. Drinks from...

Nice tidy hotel, free parking if you are only parking overnight. However, I was happy to pay £5.80 for the NCP car park 300 yards away for 24 hours. (Travelodge discounted). Ideal for the heart of Brum, I had an all day meeting in Colmore Gate, brilliant location, within walking distance. Room was clean, tidy and staff great, I didn't...

The most basic, cheap hotel facilities they can get away with. No plug sockets by the bed (or bedside tables), not even a lock on the bathroom door and they make you pay for wifi...there are other hotels in the vicinity that are similarly priced and so much nicer.
