This hotel was very disappointed it shows online what you see is not what you get. I thought Britannia chain would be ok throughout the uk but this one just terrible. Reception staff need customer training their attitude is just don't care and don't explain things properly. The hotel itself was very old fashion very dated worn out and dirty....

I have stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf before, which to fair, was just fine. I had thought that Britannia chain would have the same standards throughout their portfolio of hotels, but, how I was wrong. Britannia Hotel is located a stones thrown from New Street Station, and so is conveniently located. However, to enter the hotel, one...

Super location a few minutes from New Street Station. Our 9th floor room had everything needed to make our stay problem free. Overall the hotel needs a little TLC, but no real issues worth mentioning. The reception staff need a course on how to make a you feel welcome and not another task that they have to undertake. Jane the...

I stayed there for a night due to my flight and I regret I didn't stay at the airport as the hotel was the worst place I have ever stayed in. I travel a lot and I wouldn't expect to find hotel in the city centre of Birmingham so horrible. Not really pleasant check in, very dirty bedroom and bathroom...

Location is superb, just within the bullring. Nice people working there and very responsive to our requests. Clean room, however very small and quiet different from that shown during booking. Keycards are really rediculous and we needed to reactivate every time we used them. Breakfast was horrible for me compared to other hotels in other areas in Europe and USA.

We stayed on the sat night. The room smelt of damp. Very old could do with an update. Bed wasn't comfy at all cheap mattress and not very clean.. could do with extra plugs and light bulbs in the lamp would help. Wouldn't stay again.

I stayed here over the weekend with my friends at £79 a night for a room this is expensive for Birmingham standards. On arriving to the hotel the rooms were dirty and outdated the bedsheets were dirty and the rooms were in a disgusting condition. Our rooms both had power cuts and the extremely unhelpful staff pointed us to the...
