This hotel had the refreshed interior and rooms which brings it right up to date and comparable with other budget chains. Good night's sleep on comfy mattress as usual and nice to see power socket next to the bed. Only downs, no proper food menu at weekend so had to go to McDonald's next door, and the small puny towels....

This Ibis is the first Ibis I've stayed that's been refurbished to Ibis's new style, and I liked it! I thought the room was very comfortable and well presented with everything spotlessly clean and in perfect working order. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to central Birmingham, or a few minutes by car or bus. The hotel felt...

My third visit to this hotel and will continue to use it. Small but cosy rooms that appear to have been renovated. Very clean, bed a little on the hard side for me, TV with freeview channels, friendly staff, some traffic noise from the busy road at the front so rear facing rooms should be quieter. Great pod type bathroom...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience, Regrettably, overbooking situations do arise in any hotel from time to time due to computer glitches and it may be necessary to transfer guests. Whilst I am pleased to say that this is not a regular occurrence, I fully appreciate your frustration at the time. When...

My boyfriend and I came up to Birmingham to see a musical and I thought we'd stay over so I could show him round my old university city. When we came into the foyer to check in we were impressed by how contemporary it looked and lovely the receptionist was. By the time we got to our room however our...

Great accommodation and great value. The new make over works really well. If you are on business and need a clean functional room then this hotel is perfect. The shower is really great although the drop in bathroom is a little strange at first.

Booked this hotel last year for this year, had a great stay here even though there was building work going on. Only thing I would suggest to people is to avoid the bar. Had a beer here and was awful and expensive!!

Hotel is very good rooms comfortable and there is free parking available! Area in which the hotel is situated not very good (tall fence a give away) Not many places to eat besides the Golden Arches next door. There is a street of eateries but nothing there took my fancy (mainly halal) Would stay again for a stop over/base but...

Very good value for money stay at this hotel. We received a friendly welcome, free parking, our requests were fully met and the rooms have been recently refurbished. We did not eat at the hotel. Only slight issue was previous guest had smoked in bathroom with lingering smell - not the hotel's fault.
