I stayed in this hotel when I was off to see This Morning Live,it was clean and spacious, the breakfast was quite expensive so if you are booking it and have the option of including breakfast then I would. There was a confusion with the waitress regarding the breakfast but it was all sorted out quickly and smoothly.

I stayed at the Edgbaston Palace Hotel with some colleagues, prior to a meeting at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It was good value for money, the twin room had two singles and one double bed, so I imagine it would be great for families. The room was clean, and the bathroom had been recently refurbished. There was the usual tea making...

Very nice, quite, home-like hotel near Birmingham centre. Half of an hour by food to University of Birmingham. Personal is friendly and kind. Restaurant with tasty reasonable prices dishes. Nice English beer. Free and reliable Internet connection.

We had a two night stay and would happily have stayed longer. The staff were very hardworking and seemed to be multitasking with several different jobs. Despite this nothing was too much trouble and we were always made to feel welcome. The restaurant food was good value & the breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choices & freshly cooked. The windows...

Hotel is on a busy road so quite noisy. Bed also passed its best and uncomfortable. Also a list of do's and don'ts about their not overly nice rooms (no outside food for example). But this all paled into insignificance compared to another guest being allocated my room and opening the door at 12:20 at night. Sleep totally disrupted and...

I stayed in this hotel for one night with my sister and mum for a mothers day surprise. We checked in and the lady was friendly and polite. When we got into our room my heart sank immediately the room was very small and obviously hadn't been refurbished for a long time. There were notices on the wall warning us...

Great location, converted old house (I think), with a great patio area and tons of parking. Service was helpful and considerate. We had asked for an easy access room, and they complied. We ate at the restaurant, very nice food and cheerful service. There was a hairdryer and kettle in the room with coffee and tea. The negative? The room...

Just got home from an over night stay at this hotel to watch Bruno Mars. I was very apprehensive about staying here because after booking I read the reviews on trip advisor and thought what have I done. What I had done was booked a lovely room and a beautiful character building. Our room was a little small but was...

If you read my other reviews, I always try to be fair. I highlight the good and not so good equally. Now, a Premier Inn isn't fancy but it's in a similar price bracket so it's a decent comparison. A premier Inn gets the basics right, clean, tidy, a great nights sleep guaranteed and good customer service. 'The Palace' does...

Myself and my family stayed at this hell hole on a trip to Cadbury world over the bank holiday weekend. We were met with extremely rude staff on the front desk as if it was doing me a favour by checking us in. The place is completely run down in what must be a 1920s building to the point i...
