I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the ICC. The room was very spacious with two large beds and I really enjoyed the Starbucks in the lobby. The bar was fun and had good food, but seemed to get very busy on Friday night that limited seats. It is opened to the public and seemed like a popular destination.

A busy bar. The restaurant was quite quiet. Service was excellent. Food delicious. Chicken parfiat was smooth and tasted amazing. Rib eye was cooked to perfection and excellent meat and we chose this after the waiter recommended it. Pricey at over £150 for two (not huge amount of alcohol).

I stayed here with friends for a hen party and it was great! We had two rooms with two king size beds, there was only 3 of us in each room so lots of space. The bathroom also had a shower with separate bath. We had drinks in the bar before we went out. The bar is really nice and...

Went here recently for a small wedding reception (7 adults and 2 children). Arrived just after 4pm with the restaurant reasonably quiet. Orders were taken after about 10 minutes. After waiting over an hour the starters arrived then after another half an hour wait and the waiter telling us the main course would be a couple of minutes the adult...

I travelled into central Birmingham with my family and we decided on Malmaison for a meal. The food was first class and the waiter that served us, Ben, was great. He was completely efficient, asking us once if everything was satisfactory then leaving us to get on with it whilst remaining attentive. Great food-great waiter. Richard & family

Hotel was great, room was spacious and luxurious, good night's sleep on comfy beds. Reception staff helpful and courteous. Parking a bit pricey. Chez Mal which is the hotel bar was excellent although getting served was a bit lengthy at times. Will be back.

Stayed here for 2 nights (Friday - Sunday) with the Date Night package in the Mal Club room. The room was amazing. Big comfy bed, clean bathroom and plenty of facilities (coffee machine, 40" tv, free toiletries, free coffee/tea/hot chocolate, iron, ironing board, dressing gowns, slippers, water, chocolates, apples). Much more freebies than you get with a traditional hotel such...

Stayed here for a night, absolutely loved it. Stayed because we thought the prices were great compared to other places in Birmingham, and the room really exceeded expectations. Even the standard double room we were in was MASSIVE, with really nice furniture, Air conditioning and a lovely bath tub. The wifi was also really good (were able to stream movies...

We just love Malmaison. Location is excellent, with a car park. The staff are lovely and the rooms are too. You literally walk out and everything is a stones throw away. Excellent hotel. Toiletries are also nice in Malmaison and it has a spa, although I've not visited it.
