The beds were very clean and comfy. Extras like the TV and Shower were all a little dated and could do with updating but no complaints really as I paid 67 quid for a 2 nights in a family room. The built on Thyme restaurant offers a pretty limited menu and it also felt quite expensive. I had a burger...

This hotel is in an industrial area of Birmingham and therefore will always be busy. This unfortunately has allowed standards to slip. My room had a piece of paper on the floor when I arrived and on the 3rd day it was still there so I placed it in the bin, not too difficult for me, but perhaps a little...

Stayed here whilst working in the city centre. It was clean and tidy - although ready for a refurb. Staff could do with training in listening/paying attention - as I was asked three times for my name during the check in process! Team in the restaurant were either all or nothing. Three different staff checked on us within a 2...

Me, my other half and our 2yr old daughter stayed overnight, and paid for dinners and breakfasts. We had a family room which was very nice and spacious, but we were right next to the stairs so it was quite noisy as people seemed to ignore the 'quiet zone after 10pm' rule. The room itself was fine, no complaints except...

This hotel is just off the motorway but very quiet. No tragic noise at all. A five minute taxi ride into the city. Or a 30 minute walk along the canal. Very pleasant but I wouldn't walk along it after dark. The staff are very friendly and kind. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Bed is...

Great place to stay if you intend to access Birmingham using the canal tow paths, as the hotel has a gate onto the canal side at Aston Junction. The city centre can be accessed via two canals, and the third allowed a pleasant walk to Aston Hall. Consequently the car spent the week in the car park. Sophie proved an...

Stayed here for just one night. The staff we encountered were all lovely and extremely helpful and pleasant. Hotel is in a good location - £8 from centre of town in a taxi and we walk walked in along the canal which was an experience - certainly met some of the characters of Birmingham it took about 20 - 25...

We stayed here as the prices for staying closer to the NEC were getting too high. It was easy to get to off the M6. The Bullring shopping centre was about a 20-25 minute walk so we went out for food and drinks in the evening. Breakfast was good. We had a choice of cooked breakfast, cereal and continental. The...

I am a frequent user of Premier Inn and therefore have a reasonable expectation of what to expect. The room had a terrible smell of damp and was freezing. I changed rooms but this failed and so I was moved back to original room where the heating came in..the boiler had broken. The TV only had one pixilated channel. The...
