We arrived on a Friday evening to find that the electronic room and key system had stopped working and that the staff were trying to cope. I was very impressed with the manual system they (Adrian and colleagues) put in place and the amount of extra mileage the staff to open rooms until the e-card system was back up and...

The Wanderers needed a place to crash after attending a concert at the nearby Symphony Hall and the Hampton by Hilton on Broad Street fitted the bill perfectly. Once on Broad Street you can’t miss the hotel just look for the 1970s style office block which is also the tallest building on the Broad Street! The hotel is easily accessible...

If you are looking to enjoy the cultural delights of Birmingham; Symphony Hall, the Rep and the museums, this hotel is very conveniently situated on Broad street, and is also close to a wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafes. Very comfortable too. And has a car park. All good.

We stayed here for 2 nights for my husbands birthday and had a really good time. The room was spotless and quite big and quiet. We requested a higher room on the back and that seems to have worked. Breakfast was really busy on Sunday morning but still managed to get what we needed, Monday morning was quieter. Lots of...

Sausages should be brown and not grey. Eggs should be fresh and not congealed. Orange juice should be served, not orange coloured grapefruit cordial. No staff on hand as all self service. Stayed 5 nights, ate breakfast out on last 4 even though included in price

Had a solid stay. The waffles at breakfast were delicious, the staff quite nice and accommodating, the room was quiet and up to scratch. The mattress was great for a good night's sleep. The gym is perfect for a short stay as well! The one tip I'd recommend is asking for a higher up room (13 and higher) facing the...

We had a room on 7th floor, extremely noisy. Hotel is full of stag and hen parties, not great for business travel. Breakfast was not to any great standard, food fairly bland. Have stayed here before, but feel has gone downhill and would not stay again.

Stayed here one night , 3rd floor smells badly of cooking no idea why. The room was ok , no decent window the big one was a false window the other looked out on to a scruffy back part. There were noises of toilets flushing all night and strange cracking sounds intermittently.Must admit I've stated in better Hiltons. Breakfast was...

You know exactly what to expect from a Hampton by Hilton and this is no exception. This hotel is located on the busy Broad Street so do expect some level of noise. However, during my stay it didn't really affect me. Staying on a Friday or Saturday might be more of a challenge. The receptionist on check in was great...
