Attentive staff a stunning starter and very good main. Well worth the money but not stupidly priced anyway. Latest in a string of visits for business and I've never been let down. It remains my choice for business both in Birmingham and elsewhere

Stayed here while trying two of Birmingham’s best restaurants. Excellent valet parking service. Small reception desk handled our booking quickly. Room very dark and a bit dated. Everything worked OK though. Got a special rate so represented good value. Drank at the bar on returning late in the evening. Nice atmosphere. Overall for an overnight stay and a glass of...

My wife and I popped into Hotel du Vin to have a glass of wine again in The Bubble Lounge to which we normally enjoy but unfortunately this time it was spoilt by the slow service as there was only one bar server at 12.30 Tuesday lunchtime.

The front of house staff were very helpful, room was huge and bathroom enormous. Everything you'd need in the room. Location of the hotel is really great for the city centre and is a converted old hospital so full of character. One slight downside is parking. There is ample space in the nearby Snow Hill Station pay & display but...

My husband and I stayed in a suite here for a one night mini honeymoon the week after our wedding. The week before, we received an email with the option to upgrade to a suite for a small fee which we did and we were very happy with our room. The bathroom was the highlight with a rolltop bath and...

Just spent two nights here, in a good location close to Grand central and snow hill stations, stayed in junior suite. Very roomy massive bed, only fault for such a good size room wardrobe space is inadequate it is cluttered with luggage rack, ironing board etc. If you want to hang a long dress or trousers there is not enough...

As ever with Hotel du Vin, a really iconic building (ex eye hospital I think) and great location near the bull ring. Room smart, bed uber cosy, restaurant service and food excellent. The hotel doesn't have its own car park, but there's is a car park nearby where you can park overnight or they do valet parking for £25 a...

Spent a lovely couple of hours enjoying a fabulous Sunday lunch. Started with a glass of champagne! Followed by 4 course meal. Plenty of options, food plentiful and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, staff attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant manger was very professional and made you feel very welcome. Would totally recommend, we will definitely be back!

Was disappointed with afternoon tea - have had better here before it was my moms birthday and go nothing complimentary. We had an offer before on cocktails when you had afternoon tea nothing this time. The bagel were nice but sandwich option should be available. I booked this afternoon tea because you site in the courtyard (outhouse) with the open...
