Obviously in the midst of a full refurb and boy does it need it! Tired hotel, stuck in the 80s. However, the room was exceptionally clean, clean bedding, clean towels. A huge room that would be lovely if the decor and bed was to modern standards Although the bed mattress needs replacing, lumpy, bumpy springs. Glad it was only one...

We booked through booking.com it said bar and restaurant it had neither. The place is filthy, stained, smells. The room hadn't been cleaned in some time, public hair all over bathroom floor in sink and bath. Filthy shower curtain. Cracked and mouldy bath/panel. Draft through window so bad the curtain was moving. The quilt barely fitted the width of the...

Came late for check in and was well attended by the helpful receptionist. Room is average but not that bad at all for the value you pay- it is well facilitated, clean and comfy. However, closest eatery at night is about 10-15 mins walk away. Conveniently located just across the Small Heath station, by the roundabout, a mosque and has...

Where to start!! Very tired and worn hotel. Some sockets would't work, others loose. Bare wires showing on one of the sockets. Dirty threadbare carpets..window wouldn't shut properly. Bathroom filthy, god knows when it was last cleaned. Run the taps and you got a foul smell of drains. We booked this as it said it had a restaurant a bar..it...

If you're not from Birmingham and don't know the area, do not stay here stay in the actual city centre. We have never been more afraid in our lives, and did not feel safe. Not worth the money, the room was disgusting and smelt like cigarettes. The shower was mouldy and so was the ceiling. The carpet was well I...

Very run down, no bar or restaurant, threadbare carpets, smelly room, legless animals in the bathroom, did not dare to try the breakfast. Fifty quid was to much, I have stayed in better places in North Africa and that takes a lot of beating. Booking .com need to let us know that it is a hell hole not fit for...

I'm afraid I couldn't even grade this hotel. I booked it last minute to go see friends in Birmingham. When we pulled up it looked very run down but when we finally found the way in and found reception we were met by a friendly male receptionist so thought it might not be so bad. Carpets all the way up...

The hotel was in a good location for our stay. But I felt the pictures weren't a good representation of the quality. From reception to our room most of the carpets and walls were stained, in our room again the walls were dirty or stained. The bathroom had many defects such as holes in the bath panel, dirty shower curtain,...
