One of my favourite places to stop in Birmingham, Smack in the middle of the City just around the corner from the Mailbox perfect distance to stagger back if you've had a long night. Just to the side of reception there is a seating area, and every time I have been there, I've had one or two drinks down there...

This is a quirky city, pod style hotel. Great for one night stay. The room us tiny. Think small, inside cabin on the old North Sea Ferries. However, the bed was comfortable, great shower and just a 10 minute walk to the Barclaycard arena and even less to the Symphony Hall. Easy walk from New Street Station. I am a...

I realised the rooms in this place were extremely small when booking and so actually upon arriving in the room I found it to be acceptable, considering my expectations. However two things made my trip an uncomfortable and inconvenient one. The first of these was the fact that the heating didn't work in my room. I returned late on the...

Close to the city centre, reacheable in five minutes walk, featured but cramped. Maintained well, good price performance. No restaurant but one can find close by ones. Good for single short trip. Budget type but may not be good for family and long stay

If like us you did your research you would find a cosy pod style bedroom, spotless with a comfy bed and a fabulous wet floor shower/bathroom. Perfect location just a walk away from the main centre, and the staff were amazing especially the general manager who was working on nights when we stayed, so friendly and chatty an absolute asset...

We stayed here for a night out in Birmingham. The location is excellent literally 3 mins walk to broad street and near a lovely little restaurant area. It's clean and the staff are lovely. BUT be prepared this is a very small roomed hotel. As you walk in the bed is there on your left- that is your seating area...

Unlike other reviewers I expected the rooms to be very compact as I'd actually done some research!! At £98 the room was a little pricey but as it was the Christmas market in comparison to the other hotels in the area it was to be expected. The room wouldn't be great if there were two of you staying for more...

Floor in shower room slippy and tiles uneven. Room was musty smelly and dirty. State of decour grotty in the extreme. Noisy...
