I stayed here for 2 nights during a business trip to Redditch. The room was very clean, staff was polite and helpful. I arrived there around 9pm and asked for a chair to easily sit and work on my laptop. They provided the chair very quickly even at those late hours. The room was very warm during my stay (outside temperature was freezing). Towels were clean, bed was also very comfortable for me.

The hotel and rooms are nothing like the pictures on line. This is not a large luxurious hotel. In brief - tiny room with dated decor and broken furniture, terrible views of building works, uncomfortable stained mattress, ripped bedding, old damp smelling towels and no breakfast. Absolutely zero customer service! Contacted the manager to talk through my complaints. He acknowledged them but refused any refund. Ruined my weekend - don't let it ruin yours.

The Old Rose and Crown was a lovely place to stay. We stayed in the family room and it was huge. The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere of the hotel was great. We were greeted warmly on arrival and the felt very much at home for our two night stay.
