Me and my mum booked in for a massage at the shakina spa and afternoon tea at park Regis. The amazing Stacey served us, very welcoming and warm. The aromatherapy massage was one of the best I have had.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for one night on a groupon deal for our Anniversary. We loved the hotel decor, it was very modern and beautiful. Upon check in, we were given the information of the check in/ check out times etc but the hotel receptionist didn’t know our late checkout was included in our deal. We also asked him for our complimentary drinks voucher which he forgot about. When we got into our hotel room, we saw it was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was big and we loved the view from the window. After we settled, we went down for dinner in the restaurant as booked. The food was amazing and the service by Angela and Rakessh was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure our meal was special and always came to check up on us to see how we were. They prepared a lovely surprise for us at the end of our meal which was a special touch to our anniversary. They were very professional and so efficient at their job. They were a great asset to the hotel! The next morning at breakfast, we were told it was served till 11am but we went down just after 10am and was told it closed at 10am. We were a little disappointed with the miscommunication but the breakfast we managed to have was still lovely. The service of this issue was rectified by the hotel manager Sabin who offered us afternoon tea in the bar later that day. When we checked out, Iris sorted everything out smoothly and was attentive to how our stay was. She was very pleasant and helpful. Overall, the stay was very good and we would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be returning soon.

My cousin and I recently booked two rooms at the Park Regis as we were going to see Genesis at the Utilita Arena. Car Park - we were given directions to parking but at the entrance of the car park, it stated it was closed (only open for gym members). I drove up to the 4th floor where the hotel parking was situated and rang the hotel and was told it was fine to park there. When we left the following morning the parking space next to ours was cordoned off and they were painting the ceiling and posts. There was paint on the car!! Check In - slow and there was no apology from staff for keeping us waiting. My Room - my room had not been made up!! I was given another room on another floor. Dirty linen in the corridor - on return from the concert my cousin was confronted with a bag of dirty linen in his corridor at 1am. Overcharged - My cousin was double charged for a meal we had before going to the concert. He rang many times and was told the charge was correct. Finally, it was admitted that he had been double charged for the meal BUT there was no apology. They also decided to ring him at 10.20pm to tell him the news. He had obviously irritated the staff by ringing to get his money back so they decided to ring him at this late hour as punishment. The Park Regis is a lovely hotel but the staff are seriously letting it down. I will not stay again.

An eclectic mix of weirdness!! The decor is lovely to be fair, however I feel like I’ve landed on Mars with a one way ticket, when you look at the clientele. Aparantky I have to fill 200 characters to complete this review, so here goes. Weird, weird, weird, weird weird………….

Jet, We look at hundreds of reviews each year! I have to say I am extremely disappointed by your review! I'm trying to understand the qualification that allows you to judge our guests! The event that you reference had 200 young professionals that had smashed their targets and were being celebrated by their employer. Perhaps another hotel would be better for you in the future when you can be with your type of guest!!! Thanks John Angus Managing Director
