The accomodation was excellent. A beautifully kept and preserved 17th century home in a rural setting surrounded by a well kept garden. Our room was extremely attractive and well served by en suite facilities. We were in unseasonable cold weather and the central heating had been turned on for our comfort. The use of a quiet sitting room where we...

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. At this time of year the garden enhances the house. All the herbaceous borders are coming into life now, so soon there will be a mass of colour. We still have the central heating on as nights are cold. The sitting room has proved to be a good meeting place where family and friends...

Over the past 3 years we have visited Coventry on a number of occasions as our daughter has been University there. Unfortunately we did not discover Barnacal Hall which oozes character until our final visit. Rose has made her home truely a home from home for her guest. Her welcome is as warm and friendly as is her home. She...

I do appreciate you taking the time to write a review and such a comprehensive one too. You have certainly given potential guests a good idea what they can expect if they stay with us. I have tried to set the rooms up with as many useful items as I can. I know from staying at other b&b's that it...

Really beautiful house with a fantastic host. Rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean, they are also really spacious. Your spoilt for choice at breakfast which is included in the price of the rooms. Excellent value for money. Rose deserves 5 stars, friendly and you know if you needed anything she would do her best to provide it. This is...

We are so lucky to live in a house with so much historical character and only too pleased to share it with our guests. The house is always a talking point. Having spacious, clean rooms makes the experience of staying with us a more pleasurable one especially if you stay for several days. Although breakfast is included in the price...

Overnight stay after a family wedding reception. Rose was only too happy for us to book in at midday to change for the reception and also to stay up to welcome us back. The carefully maintained period farmhouse was an absolute delight and every detail of personal comfort was provided, including a breakfast that was worth 5 stars on it's...

Although our booking in time is usually after 4pm we are happy to accommodate guests earlier if they have a good reason such as going to a wedding. I'm pleased you enjoyed your breakfast. We offer a good range of foods to suit all tastes. We welcome back many guests time and time again. One guest has returned twice a...

I stayed at Barnacle Hall for one night during a recent conference. Rose was warm and welcoming throughout, from booking, to arrival and settling in, at breakfast and on departure. The room I stayed in was huge, full of character and had a comfortable bed. I opted for the ensuite (bath). Rose, for breakfast, provided a good selection of yoghurts,...

We are located near to several hotels who provide facilities for conferences and seminars. We provide accommodation on a small, personal basis for anyone wishing to escape to a more tranquil setting at a lower price. So if you are attending such an event do explore what else is available in the area with regards to accommodation. It was good to...

Wonderful farmhouse bed and breakfast. Fabulous room with large bathroom. Rose is a great hostess and really made me feel at home. The freshly cooked (order the evening before) breakfast was just scrummy. I'm almost reluctant to rave too much as I will be hoping to stay regularly and there are only 3 rooms. A great little find which I...

`Thank you for the great comments. We like to give a personal service and being friendly is one aspect of that. Many guests return again and again because of the friendly approach they receive. We stayed here for one evening, when my family home in Barnacle was a little too full to take us. The room was massive (as was the bed), the breakfast was great with a large selection and the owner, very friendly.

We are lucky to be able to offer large rooms for our guests to enjoy. There is nothing worse than been cramped in a room where there is barely space to get up the side of the bed. The bed mentioned in the review is a super-king which can also be converted into 2 single beds for anyone wishing to...

Stayed here two nights while attending a conference in Coventry. Fantastic building and Rose really looks after you. The location is fairly close to the motorway but still felt peaceful. Pleased to read you enjoyed your stay with us. After a long day at a conference we are able to provide a relaxing place to stay where you can unwind and recharge your batteries.
