We took my elderly mum and dad on Mother's Day for the 3 course special menu. We had an excellent meal for a very reasonable price. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was special & at the end there was a lovely free gift for my mum. Thank you Midland.

First impressions of the Hotel obtained from rear entrance free car park was this building was something special. Walking up a wooden ramp to a station platform bedecked with scales and suitcases with lovely tiled walls. The door then opened into a spacious lobby with a luxurious high ceiling of Victorian grandeur and sweeping staircase. We were welcomed in reception...

We stayed at the Midland for a period of 3 weeks whilst attending business in Bradford. This is indeed a majestic hotel with lovely architectural features. Starting with the parking to the rear of the hotel, it leaves a lot to be desired. It is riddled with potholes and parking is few and far between. The back entrance to the...

We attended a charity ball and stayed over in one of the executive rooms. The hotel is very well laid out and is a very large and classy. It has large sweeping staircases between the landings. The decor is fantastic and in keeping with its age. It has a bar with reasonable prices. Our ball was in the Princess room...

Check in was quick and efficient by a helpful receptionist. The room was of a good size with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Room was not air conditioned and the heater was rather ancient and not very efficient. There were no toiletries in the bathroom just a generic soap dispenser that you get in a budget hotel. I'd...

Just returned from afternoon tea at the Midland. What a let down. Everything on the cakestand had been brought out of a freezer and one of my party said they looked like Mr Kipling cakes. Five finger sandwiches wet through to share between 2 people. Asked the waitress for some cake forks and they don't have any at all in...

Dear 304albo Many thanks for taking time to review your recent afternoon tea experience, here with us at the Midland Hotel. I very much appreciate your feedback. May I assure you that the cakes were not Mr Kipling’s; however I am extremely sorry you didn’t enjoy yourself. I do hope this won’t deter you from returning to the hotel sometime...

My family and I stayed here whilst attending a local wedding. We accessed the hotel through the old station and that set to tone for the Victorian style decor of the foyer and bar and restaurant areas. The hotel rooms were clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff themselves were very friendly and helpful and overall we enjoyed our stay.

I spent one night in the hotel, for a professional function, held in the Princess Ballroom. The hotel is a charismatic Victorian property right in the city centre. The area around reception and the foyer is well kept and very evocative of the era. Check in was a bit slow, after I'd struggled to find a space in the crowded...

We were here to take in a game of football at Valley Parade. The Midland is very conveniently located, all attractions and the football ground within walking distance. Interesting pubs and restaurants all around, do try the beer outlets in North Parade. Easy to find the hotel by car using the clear directions on their website, and onsite parking. The...
