It's taken a while for me to write this review because I'm split in my opinion about this place. On the one hand I absolutely love the bar, it's been refurbished lovingly, it's a fantastic venue for live music, it's got great ales and half decent wines, beautiful art deco lights, gorgeous flooring and wallpaper and William is a fantastic...

The rooms are clean which is a good thing beds ok, but rooms are so dated needs a total refurb, the walls are so thin can hear next door talk. The toilet system makes a noise everytime you flush it as can hear next door as well. Looks like if has secondary glazing but can still hear the traffic from...

Old gas lit pub on the edge of the city within easy reach of a growing number of new craft bars. Bus stops nearby to Keighley, Bingley and Saltaire. Stayed 1 night last week but have visited the pub as a drinker for many years. Basic but clean and comfortable room with tea/coffee, TV and Wi-Fi. Would stay again when...

I have had the good fortune to stay at 'The New Beehive' twice and look forward to my next stay.I was on a 'real ale and curry' appreciation weekend with my brother and two friends and the pub was perfect for a base. William the owner also has an other real ale pub not far away which we also visited...

We stayed there for one night, and although the room and bedding was clean and spacious it was also freezing cold. There was no one there after 9 pm, so we couldn't ask for heaters until the morning. Worse still, mid 19th century architecture and the unfortunate geographical positioning of our corner room in the direct path of a unhindered...

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately during your visit the boiler blew out due to bad weather and we were unable to reset it until 9am. This we apologise for. We do not however apologise for the noise caused by the wind, our staff's Yorkshire accents (which you obviously felt was note worthy) or that our building, although beautiful is...

I have had a number of happy stays here. Good location for city centre. If you are looking for satellite tv, the latest in wet rooms, very attentive room service etc. then don't come here. Want a place with history, atmosphere, over a great pub, and offering a cracking breakfast and with helpful friendly staff then this might just be...

This is most definitely not a hotel that you would go to if you were on a romantic break, but if you are looking for somewhere just to sleep after a night on the town it is absolutely fine. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to hotels but we booked this last minute to attend a...

I'm from Lancashire so always happy to criticise anything in Yorkshire whenever I can, but I also call a spade a spade so any criticism of this place can only be from anyone who goes around with their eyes shut and are lacking a deal of common sense and simple nous! It's an Edwardian pub on a main road near...

Quite plain, nothing flashy but a good solid place to stay on a budget. Clean rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Only 10 minutes walk from the train station. Not for people lacking mobility due to number of stairs up to room. Would quite happily stay here again.
