Not for the first time we called here over 1940s weekend. Good competetively pric ed beers. A very friendly welcome and atmosphere courtesy of Dave and Jo. Although it was very busy due to the event it was still ok getting served . Thanks again guys , see you soon

We stayed here with our dog 10 days ago . Very friendly and helpful staff who run a very welcoming establishment. Jo and Jan provided me with gluten free breakfast which was very much appreciated. No frills just honest Yorkshire hospitality. Thank you to all.

Having read the reviews I booked this accommodation. Very pleasant couple with pleasant staff. Reasonable facilities in the room. Was expecting a different menu as shown on website but kitchen taken over with different menus on different nights. Food was good on this night but did not expect just to be American night. Would have liked an alternative option preferably...

Bed room was a reasonable size and well furnished for the one night. Cold bottles of water available in...

Passed through Howarth and called in for lunch at this place..... A really warm welcome from the landlady Jo and her husband Dave. This is a great pub, reasonably priced drinks and the food is to die for and great value for money. A really enjoyable afternoon.... we loved it so much we have booked a nights stay in October!!...
