Location is great. I could look out the front window at breakfast and see the stones of Avebury. In fact, before breakfast I went for a walk around the stones and was the only one out - excellent. Free parking which is nice as the public parking for Avebury is a walk out of town and costs. It is also...

We stayed one night in July. The house is located within the stone circle and it is lovely to be able to visit the stones at different times of day. The room was large and well appointed. However the owner did not seem like she wanted guests. There are signs with rules everywhere, and we felt a little like intruders....

Comfort, friendliness, attention to detail. Sherry, fruit and chocolate in the bedroom and sarsen stones from the bedroom window. Owner gave us fascinating insight into a working farm and the history if the Avebury settlent not just the stones. Lovely room.

We spent two nights here right in the centre of the Avebury Stone Circle. The accommodation was really comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. Fruit, tea & chocolate, a kettle, hairdryer etc... everything you could ask for. The breakfasts choices were both the conventional and the less usual ones, and the service from Judy was friendly and prompt....

My partner booked our room over the internet/telephone in January, just to be sure that we would get accommodation. He was very keen to experience what it would be like to stay inside the actual stone circle of Avebury and experience the energies of that place differently than just visiting during the day. We drove from Bristol and were very...

I have stayed at Manor Farm with my partner about 4 or 5 times over the years. It's always best to book advance as it is only one of a few places which are actually in the stone circle. We have always found the accommodation to be clean and quite with a very tasty breakfast. The owner does keep her...

I knocked on the door to inquire about a room. A woman answered. Very snobbishly she told me that she no longer lets out rooms. I pointed to the sign on the wall beside the door. The one that stated "Bed and Breakfast." She then informed me that the B and B was full. Full up and no longer operating?...

The proprietor of this establishment needs a lesson in manners. We asked her if it would be possible to heat up 3 small pot pies we bought at the deli. She did but when she gave them back to us it was without forks to eat them with. When my husband nicely requested forks, she begrudging gave then to him...

They do not accept children below 12 years old. Even for one night. Could be interesting knowing why.

Manor Farm is a gracious Georgian house on Avebury's tiny High St, so within the stone circle. I had a large double for single occupancy, plus use of a sitting room with small rather antiquated TV downstairs (which would be shared with anyone else staying). The room was not en suite, but the bathroom was near and was huge and...
