Nice quiet place gravel drive plenty of parking. Apartment had two rooms of good size small kitchen, shower OK. Very short walk to town plenty to see good place to eat. Byways itself has a gentle rise on the pavements to get to it. All in all well recommended.

I stayed here in August as part of a south coast trip. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The room was nothing special but then there was no cause for complaint either. I seem to remember that the breakfast was quite good.

I stayed here with my mother this weekend and we were very pleased with this B&B: the location is absolutely ideal, it is tucked away on a quiet road with only a short walk into the centre of Salisbury (about 5 mins - impossible to get lost); the staff were all very friendly and allowed us to check-in early without...

My mum and I stayed here in September before a sponsored walk. After some initial confusion over our booking (a twin room) we were given 2 rooms at no extra charge and with no hassle. Rooms were clean, attractive and very comfortable. We were left a lovely cold breakfast as we were up very early. We were very impressed and...

We booked a room for 2nights going on other people's reviews,we weren't disappointed. So handy for the city centre, bonus was the free parking.Room was slightly on the small size but for a 2 night stay was not a problem,we were'nt expecting a cooked b/fast so it came as a nice surprise and was so filling that we didn't need to eat...

While the owner & staff were polite did feel a lack of friendliness, something missing.Given a map to find your way around. As long as you dont mind the walk up the hill from the town,it isn't too far. Can't fault the bed with mattress topper. One pack of 2(lush) biscuits to share!Food excellently cooked.Water in thermos had got lukewarm,a lot of walking...

Great location for exploring Salisbury, which is such a wonderful city. We had 4 nights in this B&B and enjoyed our stay. Very clean, well kept, bright and airy. Beautifully warm in the evenings. Lovely breakfasts - tried most things on the menu over the 4 mornings - all A1. A couple of things were disappointing though - the shower...

First impressions mixed though the old house grew on us and after staying in modern hotels the eclectic mix of pre and post war furniture in this hotel seemed to fit the surroundings. Endless supplies of tea and coffee were a welcome change from the regulation two of each. Parking a real bonus as Salisbury can be difficult and expensive...

Byways House is a large, old Victorian (?) house just a few minutes’ walk from Salisbury. We booked this a bit last minute as we were just passing through Salisbury. Our room was a bit make shift. We felt that it needed some TLC (tender loving care) – It felt rather minimalistic and in need of a makeover. There were...

Very clean lovely traditional Victorian house and gardens. Comfortable bed and room, plenty of hot water. Car park is a great bonus as its very busy in Salisbury. Short walk into the centre, although downhill on the way. Breakfast very good, lovely buffet and/or buffet. Unlimited supply of tea, coffee, toast etc. highly recommended, as quiet and away from pubs/clubs.

Thank Candyskip
